My daughter, who’s been a regular here, brought the family for dinner. We sat outside to enjoy a wonderful meal-as authentic as it gets! I’m leery when I see mole on a menu-it’s a complex dish (the fact that the owner is from Oaxaca, where mole was birthed, gave me some hope). I asked to taste the mole sauce before ordering and was pleasantly surprised. So I ordered the enchiladas de pollo con mole. They managed to make it gluten free and nut free, without sacrificing its magical earthy deliciousness.
Their salsas were amazing and not the traditional that are usually served in most Mexican restaurants. Much thought and care has gone into what they serve-right down to the aguas frescas. I can’t wait to go back.

Excellent all around. Taco Tuesdays is not only a bargain but a fully satisfying and yummy meal – especially the baha tacos. I had mine crispy – loved! My family went the healthier route and ordered grilled. They were just as pleased. Loved the brussel sprout app and the plantain app. Both must haves.

I recently ordered from La La Taqueria on Larchmont Ave. Although the food was tasty my issue has to do with the pricing on their menu. The waitress asked if I was going to charge it or pay cash. Since I wasn’t carrying a lot of cash I told her I would charge it and I assumed I would be charged a small service fee. When my order arrived the total should’ve been around 35$ (based on their menu) but the total came up to 45$ which is close to a 30% fee! There was no signage showing what the upcharge would be if paying by cash. In the future their menu should reflect the cost of paying by cash versus paying by credit card.

Ended up at La La Taqueria by chance after our original plans didn’t fit the vibe, and I’m so glad we did. The atmosphere is easy and welcoming, the fish and steak tacos are seriously good, and the margaritas are spot on. Eloy (aka Che-man) even took a minute to chat and share a funny story over a quick tequila shot. Definitely one of those local spots that just gets it right.

I was shopping in the area and figured I would give this place a try. Some places give chips for free this place charged 6 dollars for a small order of chips. I ordered steak and chicken tacos, the steak tacos were okay they cost 6 dollars each but the chicken tacos were terrible and they cost 5. I also ordered a margarita that cost 14 dollars and they gave me a cup half filled. When I asked why it was only half the server replied she doesn’t know why the bartender made it like that and said they were super busy on cinco de Mayo. Doesn’t explain why I got half a drink because I paid full price. The server was nice but I wouldn’t be going back to this place.
