I had never tried Mediterranean food before and honestly had no idea what most of the menu was describing. I originally walked in thinking they just sold shish kebabs! I’m so glad I did, though, because it turned into one of the best dining experiences I’ve had.

The owner personally walked me through the menu and explained everything in a way that made it easy to understand. He was incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming, which made us feel comfortable trying new dishes.

The food was absolutely delicious. The shawarma was perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. Both the chicken and steak were so tender they practically melted in your mouth. The rice was flavorful, the salad was fresh and crisp, and the bread was warm and amazing. Every single item on the table was on point.

The customer service was outstanding from start to finish, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We were so impressed that we went back just two days later—and the service and food were just as incredible the second time.

If you’ve never had Mediterranean food before, this is the perfect place to start. Highly recommend!

We will be back our next time in town.

Service was very good, the guy was working solo but was still very polite and accommodating. I ordered the Mount combo and some pita bread on the side. The rice was great, the bread was hot and fresh. The beef kafta was really good. The chicken kafta was just ok. Both the chicken and beef shawarma had good flavor but were a little bit on the dry side. The pita chips in the salad were a little soggy by the time I got home, so next time, I’ll just ask for the dressing on the side. Overall, it was a good experience and a lot of food for the money.

I recently ordered from La Kabob for a luncheon of 10 people, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Sam was great to work with—very accommodating and attentive to exactly what I needed. He offered an impressive selection of options, including excellent vegetarian meals, which made planning easy.

Everything was hot and ready right on time when I arrived for pickup. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well-presented. On top of that, the pricing was very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes.

I will definitely be using La Kabob again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for great food and a smooth, professional catering experience.

Got carryout while staying at the Holiday Inn across the road. Everything was good and fresh. The spinach pie was just what I needed. The hummus, bread, fattoush, lentils were all well flavored. Even though it was carryout, care was put into presentation. While waiting, the owners made me feel like an old friend. Next time I’m on town, I’ll be back..

This was our first visit to La Kabob and we will definitely be back! We both were very impressed with the food. Everything was so fresh with amazing flavor! The garlic sauce was amazing! The garlic was subtle – not overwhelming. The chicken schwarma sandwiches were fresh, flavorful, and the chicken was tender. The yogurt salad was made with in house made yogurt. Tabbouleh was so fresh and flavorful! Our favorite part of the meal was the fresh oven made bread! It was the best bread I’ve ever had and it melted in my mouth! The owner was so friendly! Definitely 5 stars!

Hands down the best middle eastern I have ever had. I got the lentil soup and the chicken shawarma sandwich. The bread was fresh from the oven. The owner was friendly and funny. The chicken and ingredients are very high quality. The size of the sandwich is huge.

I stopped in hoping for a quick, tasty bite during my 30-minute lunch break. This spot was just 6 minutes away, so I figured it was perfect. Unfortunately, it was anything but.

I ordered a sandwich and waited over 30 minutes for it—making me late getting back to work. During that time, I watched one group walk out after waiting 10 minutes without even being acknowledged.

Two other walk-ins placed dinner orders 10–15 minutes after me and somehow received their meals at the same time I got mine.

When I finally opened my sandwich, the first bite was burnt beyond recognition. I unwrapped it and was honestly shocked at how charred it was. It was unedible being so burned. I pulled it apart to check what would tear apart. I ended up heading in the opposite direction down 12 Mile and picked up fresh food in under 6 minutes.

This place showed zero respect for my time or money. Pleasant attitude, tipping—none of it mattered. I was handed a burnt sandwich with a straight face and there’snot a way around cooking and not knowing you burned/charred something.

If this is what its like when less than three people are there, I can’t imagine if it was actual traffic.

I’m not looking for a fix or a comp. That experience was enough. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere!!!
