TRIED THE LAMD SHANK WITH CHICKEN SOUP AND PITA …$26 BUCKS WASTED

CHICKEN SOUP WAS MORE OF A THICK BOILED LENTIL GRAVY ..
WITH SOME SHREDDED CHICKEN…

TASTED LIKE THE ONES GIVEN TO PATIENTS AT HOSPITALS.
THE LAMB SHANK OVER RICE ….
FAT YELLOW RICE BASE .. VEGGIES, BIG SLICES OF POTATOES… CARROTS..
THE LAMB SHANK WAS COOKED WELL BUT WAS NOT FRESH …
MAY BE IT GOT OF THE FREEZER AFTER AGES…

I wanted something different and I sure got it! It was decent but the tang got to be overwhelming. Took a while for food to be cooked, but was definitely hot and fresh. Lots of people picking up to go orders.

Just about everything here is delicious, from the pilaf rice, to char broiled burgers, and those bomb raw juices and smoothies! Literally amazing food, grape leaves, salad, deboned chicken! I could go on n on truly a gem in the middle of Detroit! Kinda tucked away but one of the best Mediterranean style restaurants that I will always praise!!

First of all, my order was incorrect. I called to let them know, but the person who answered the phone seemed completely unaware of what was going on. They acknowledged I was supposed to have a salad but kept saying “um, um,” which didn’t inspire much confidence. Unfortunately, I had no choice but to eat what was given since I was at work. To make matters worse, the food was completely flavorless. I do not recommend this place.
