Nice family style Mexican restaurant. Friendly waiter. Food was hot and nicely plated but would have benefited from basic salt and seasoning. Tip- add salt to the salsa and it is much better.

We went there for lunch my husband ordered something don’t ask me to spell it cause I’ll get it wrong but anyways it was supposed to come with chorizo steak chicken shrimp and some other kind of sausage tell me why there was hot dogs on there everything smelled and tasted like hotdogs if we wanted hotdogs we would have stayed home. We definitely will not be going back

Absolutely Rude and Took Advantage of Teenagers!
-not gonna lie, thought this restaurant was gonna have a great start, but apparently not. My sister’s boyfriend took her to a date here tonight. Now before anyone starts thinking “what did the teenagers do”, please know that they are both some of the most respectful and considerate teenagers you would ever meet. And everything went great until the end of their time.
When it came time to pay the bill, all of sudden they charge $5 dollars a refill and they suddenly have “required” gratuity……for TWO people’s bill. No signage, no advanced warning of the change. Nothing. They ALSO didn’t give them a check beforehand and they had no idea until after they were charged and got the receipt! How absolutely unacceptable. If someone older had been with them, they would have NEVER pulled this. I’m honestly considering looking into how legal all of this was. This is discrimination at the very minimum and they people who did this to them should be held accountable. I don’t think I have ever written a bad review in my life. I know how they can affect a business these days. But if this is how someone will conduct business? They don’t deserve my silence.

Easily some of the best I’ve had—refreshing, not overly sweet, and generously poured.
Service was quick, friendly, and thoughtful. You can tell the staff takes pride in what they do, and it shows in every dish and interaction. Whether you’re coming for a casual meal or a fun night out, La Jefa is the kind of place you’ll want to come back to again and again.

Custom service is terrible and food is not cooked good could not eat the food and still charged for the food drinks were not good and worker commented don’t come back just very poor service but don’t have to be told not to come back because very un professional

After having her good things about this place I was very very disappointed. I ordered the side salad and in the lettuce was rotten. The poblano pepper which is essentially a chili relleno came to my table with nothing inside of it. When I sent it back they didn’t send me out a new one but stuff the piece of cheese inside and just sent it back to the table. The rest of the food on the plate was cold and nothing was offered to me so I didn’t eat and didn’t pay. Very disappointed
