Great spot with a welcoming, colorful atmosphere. I ordered the asada taco and the birria de chivo taco—both were delicious. The meats were flavorful and juicy, the tortillas were perfectly crisped, and the salsas and grilled pepper on the side added a nice touch. Chips and salsa were fresh, and the horchata was creamy and not overly sweet. Everything felt authentic and thoughtfully done. Highly recommend.

First time here. I got the steak huaraches, my husband got the beef enchiladas. Everything was delicious. The service was fast. Thank you Anna! We will be back again.

Loved it. Had tacos al pastor, carnitas, and horchata. Classic and delicious. So glad to have a new and more authentic Mexican restaurant in the area! Tired of the other places with reduced menus (not all the classic tacos meat options or inability to get single tacos). We have tried many around Taylor and downriver and like this the best for menu, taste, atmosphere, and service. We’ll be back again soon.

La Jali Restaurante was more than I could’ve asked for!
The chilaquiles with sunny-side-up eggs and cecina were absolutely unbelievable — every bite tasted homemade and full of flavor. The warm, welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home.
The Queso Tricolor cheese dip was perfectly creamy and packed with flavor, and the guacamole stole the show — beautifully presented and lightly salted so you can season it just the way you like.
If I had to nitpick, the table style felt a little crowded underneath, but honestly, the food and vibe made up for it completely.
✨ Highly recommend La Jali if you’re looking for authentic, delicious Mexican food served with heart! ❤️

Will never return!!!! Mexican sandwich was absolutely disgusting and looked it as well. The taco meat was so tough its almost inedible. Guacamole is absolutely tasteless!!!! Spent $44.95 on garbage. 1st time customer who wont return. Tacobell would’ve been more appetizing and cheaper. Los charros or Armandos from now on

Service and food were great! It’s nice to have a good Mexican restaurant close to home. I grew up eating at restaurants like this in Southwest Detroit so it’s a great addition to Taylor I can’t remember my servers name but she was pretty great too. She was very attentive and her recommendations were spot on

Laughable amount of food. $10 loaded fries are extremely small. The tacos barely have any meat in them. They didn’t give me any salsa for my takeout order. I do not recommend this place. The Taco Stand down the street will give you 2 to 3 times the food for the same price.

Cute Mexican place to eat. Margaritas were good. Loved the salsa. Street tacos and chimis were good. Wasn’t a fan of the quesadilla. We went at lunch and was quazi busy. Service was excellent. Chris did a great job. They have a wall of Mexican snacks and candies for sale if you like that. Was very clean. We will for sure try this again. This is a second restaurant for them. The original being in Detroit.
