We heard that they just opened up so we decided to check it out. They have 3 tacos for $11 every Monday and Tuesday and omg.. they were so good. Will definitely come back again!

Okay, let’s be real! This place is just fire I got the shrimp cocktail, it was delicious I was super amazed at the quality of the dish. The shrimp was super clean I would recommend it to anyone! They have seafood and tacos and so much more! and server she was a delight super attentive and nice!

We tried the aguachiles and the seafood boil with added langostinos and it was delicious! Liz was great and friendly. If you’re craving mariscos this is the spot! On Thursday’s they have margarita specials, will definitely be coming back to try them out

My family and I have so many wonderful things to say about this restaurant, the owners, the food and service! Where to start?
We are visiting the Aurora area, from Wisconsin. Since the restaurant was only a 3 minute drive from our hotel and they have raving reviews, we decided to go try it out.
From the moment my husband & I walked in with our 2 children we were welcomed like family. We were told about the menu and offered samples of the delicious horchata & pinã drinks (which we ended up ordering both). For our meal, we ordered the mixto burrito, the mixto quesadillas and rice. The portions were so big and plentiful, it fed our whole family with leftovers.
The owner was very welcoming! Her conversation was so pleasant and inviting. She continued to check in on us to make sure the food was good and we were enjoying ourselves. She was also very attentive and friendly to our children and made them part of the experience. It’s so hard to find good customer service nowadays. In my husband’s word “You can tell when people love and enjoy what they do.”
That love and passion comes through in the food and the environment at this restaurant!
If you are thinking about trying La Jaivita’s restaurant, think no further……GO!!

We’ve been eating from la Jaivita for a while now. Their food is fresh, tasty, not greasy, not salty, and the serving size? Super generous! Today where they offer a taco day of 3 tacos for $11.00 on an average double tortilla not the little ones, we ordered the cecina and the costlitas de puerco ones. The meat portion is way above of what I expected from what I have got in other places. We also tried out the aguachile and once again I’m not disappointed with the freshness, flavor and portion of it. All is delicious!
For that cost I would say that if they decide to increase costs I’ll happily pay for it because is worthy. Local business like this one deserve our support. They also decide to take orders to do home delivery during this critical.time where some people prefer not to go out.

The dining area was smaller than I expected however it fits the vibe of the restaurant perfectly. The staff was warm and welcoming and made the place instantly inviting. I had the Shrimp Ramen with the sausage and cajun spices it was almost like a ramen jambalaya. More of a personal preference, but I would have liked the dish to have a bit more kick to it. Overall though I was very pleased with it. I would absolutely suggest visiting if you’re in the area, I know I will again.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was great and the staff is friendly. They also have a really nice video gaming room with 6 machines! I love that we have something like this in the area that offers a great atmosphere.

Another great meal (that makes 3 so far!). Crispy Shrimp Tacos were amazing along with the service. This is a great establishment in North Aurora and has great food, drinks and even slot machines.
