I have been there 3 times now and each time was amazing. This was my wife’s first time here she had the fried snapper and she said it was really good the sauce was a little spicy. The portion sizes are big and the food is delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I had the rib eye tacos, carnitas chimichanga and Molcajete de Mariscos all three were excellent.

1.28.26 We came to La Jaiba tonight with a large group of 22 people to wish our dear friend farewell. As always, everything was on point. The food is so fresh, the drinks are so balanced, and the staff is just lovely.
Again, their housemade tequila is amazing. It is so smooth, with no burn, no aftertaste, and a fresh citrus type taste. All who tried it absolutely loved it. HIGHLY recommended and honestly, it is so good it can be a straight shot. It would almost be criminal to mix it with anything! Their mixed drinks are perfectly balanced and not harsh at all.
The food never disappoints! Soooo fresh, so flavorful, huge portions, and clean tasting. You don’t get any hint of dirty oil or ‘old’ ingredients. We have not been disappointed with anything yet!
The menu is so huge it’s really hard to decide what to order. The carnitas are top notch! The grilled shrimp are so delicious and perfectly cooked! The fish tacos are fire! The homemade tortillas are phenomenal. You really can’t go wrong.
We were graced with a homemade Tres Leches cake that was to die for! It was like a butterscotch tasting top layer with a vanilla custard tasting center. The cake was super moist but not ‘wet’. Kudos to the Oaxacan chef who is developing these amazing creations! ❤️❤️❤️

Came to La Jaiba on Friday night around 845pm. Sadly, the restaurant was empty other than a large birthday party. Realizing that the holiday season is a slow time for a lot of places but I hope this wasn’t an indication of how it will be normally.
The waitress was a delight and gave us all the time we needed to order. The interior is cute and the chairs are comfortable. I’ve decided to not go to places that don’t invest in comfortable seating for their patrons.
The menu is really big and could potentially be a detriment to them to keep so many items fresh and available, but what we had was delicious.
Our drinks were VERY tasty and well balanced. We had the La Reyna (very pineapple’y)! and the Macchu Pichu had the craziest super delicate fizz to it that I cannot explain. Really really good!
We intended on having a light bite and failed miserably!
The 1/2 pineapple with seafood was the size of a small child! Full of grilled pineapple, prawns, octopus, calamari, oysters, fish filet, a crab leg…etc. It came with rice and beans and homemade corn tortillas. The only thing missing was some bread to soak up the sauce!
The Camerones Enchiladas La Diabla were mucho diabla! Very hot but very delicious! The rice and beans had tons of flavor.
We basically waddled out of the restaurant and closed it down. The prices are a bit high so we wouldn’t go on a regular basis for seafood items and drinks but we are interested in the traditional Mexican food items now that we’ve tasted their seafood.

The place was pretty good, I would go again. I got the queso birria which was very oily. They were still decent but couldve been made with less oil. I liked the live music that they had. Finally the place was very expensive compared to most other taco joints so keep that in mind.

It was DELICIOUS! The chicharrones were served grilled as fresh lechon
For entrees, we got the steak fajitas and the Campbell roll which were both delicious!
As we were served a live mariachi band started playing on Sunday evening. That was the cherry on top.
