Came here for our first time. Really because we were impressed they rebuilt and got back to business so fast after the last truck was destroyed. Got to support local small family owned businesses, especially ones with that much commitment! Huge bonus that the food was delicious. We didn’t really know what we were ordering, so would recommend pictures of each meal/item, so not sure what all is offered. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. Music a bit loud at times eating at the picnic table, but hey, rock out! Will be back. And will have to try to experiment with the food more.

We are on our way to Florida from Virginia and found this place, so glad we did! Everything was absolutely delicious the Monfongopleta and have to say it topped everything so highly recommend. We also had the pork yaroa, chicken, queso frito, and flan. Again, everything was great and the staff was super friendly and willing to help explain the menu because this was our first time having Puerto Rican food. We are going to have to make sure we stop next time heading south.

I always have a fantastic experience when I visit La Islita! The people are friendly, the food is always fresh and hot, and the portion sizes are massive.
I will definitely say the Pork Yaroa was enough for me to have 3 meals, which is amazing! I hope their portion sizes never change. I’ve only tried their #2 combo from them (which is delicious), but on my recent trip I got the Pork Yaroa and I’m converted for good. I have not had any better food in Camden County, personally.
I will be back soon to get some more delicious food! So happy they are back open and stronger than ever!

Staff is great food was amazing. There were 13 orders in front of me, it was a bit of a wait, but it was so worth it, food was fresh and 100% authentic. Staff encouraged us to place our orders ahead by calling they are the sweetest couple. I plan on coming back this weekend. SO YUMMY. ❤️
