The service was a bit slow—even getting a knife and extra spoons took quite a while. The chocolate flan had a rich and delicious chocolate cake base, but the flan itself lacked flavor. On the plus side, the two- and three-item combo plates are great value for money and tasted pretty good.

I try to leave positive reviews but last night I thought man this place is banking on family owned reputation and needs some feedback:
Manager, if you have two LARGE parties WITH reservations during peak dinner time then STAFF appropriately. You have advance notice so plan accordingly.
Stale cold chips are a terrible opener, we watched another couple dine and dash during the 20 minute wait between appetizer and dinner. The booth beside us got served before we did then our plates (party of 2) came out at different times. We also were seated in a booth with a light so dim we could not read the menu. I asked for corn tortillas and the (maybe manager, elder wearing a gray polo shirt) said he ordered them and my husband was finished betore he returned with the tortillas I need to start my entree. My husband’s drink was just ok ($10 watery margarita) and I got asked if I wanted a refill in a last ditch effort of non-existent “service.” I said yes I am drinking a coke and got a Dr Pepper which I do not drink.
Even the cashier who asked, “how was everything?” seemed a robotic rote question whose answer did not make a difference either way.
The ONLY positive was the flavor and temp of my entree. But your entire staff including manager (gray shirt larger older man)
FAILED! Big dissapointment and we will likely never return! MUCH opportunity for improvement. The dine and dash were the wisest patrons in the restaurant. Service so neglectful a couple walked on you.

had very high hopes for this place…
walked in to see all the workers sitting around staring at us, after a few minutes one lady finally came to seat us. the building was very dark and compact, went to use the restroom only to find more worker playing on their phones in the stalls/against the sink counter (two different audio sounds from phones and the toilet was not flushed nor was hands washed NASTY) service was very poor. drinks were refilled once and never checked on again. each BASIC meal was around $15 – $16 and was proportioned like a child’s meal. highly disappointed.

Mixed fajitas are delicious. The serving sizes were huge. Staff was friendly and came to check on us often. The chips were warm when they brought them out and seemed fresh. We had a group of 6 and they easily accommodated us without a reservation. I would recommend and I will definitely go back.

FOOD WAS AMAZING! 10/10 recomended..
SERVICE COULDNT GET WORSE!! i could rated lower! Our waitress checked on us TWICE in an hour!! We were waiting for the check for 35 minutes and she was SITTING AND TALKING at another table, and when we ask another waiter for her, she handed him the check machine… not even asking us for nothing we needed! I gave him the tip on Cash! Cause he deserved it more than her!! YOU GUYS NEED TRAINED NEW AND BETTER STAFF!!

We used La Huerta to cater for our wedding a few weeks ago. It was amazing! They are so easy to work with. We worked primarily with Alejandro and he was great! He always responded promptly when we asked questions and is super friendly! The food was so good and everything went smoothly. We got lots of compliments after the wedding. We couldn’t be happier with La Huerta!!

I will say they have good salsa. Their cheese dip is thin and the quac wasn’t pretty. I ordered the make your own meal with a tamale and cheese enchilada. The server came back and asked me if I wanted a beef enchilada, to which I corrected her and said cheese. Well, guess what? I still got a beef enchilada and the only time we saw her after that was when she brought the check and took plates. The service wasn’t fantastic and the food was average.
