Very happy to have had wonderful service and quality cuisine! This is what we expect from a Mexican restaurant! Fresh food made in house as requested. The Decor is hand crafted and authentic. I really appreciate this restaurant. We will be back! Please give them a try!

We love Mexican, my wife is from Texas so it’s hard to please her when it comes to Mexican food, but this spot was good, tasty food and drinks, friendly service…4 stars on the atmosphere because it was a tad got in there, seems like the AC might be out of service.

I’ve came to this restaurant many times since finding out about its existence and it has yet to disappoint me. The atmosphere is amazing the service is on point and the staff truly love what they do and how well they provide service to the patrons. Definitely the best re

We went to La Huerta as a group of 6 for an early dinner.we ordered drinks and appetizers at the start and then about 15 minutes later ordered entries..The first problem is that all the food came at the same time no separation between appetizers and entries. Food looked good but was lacking in flavor had to order some chopped jalapeños to kick things up a bit. There was value for the price but there was something about the food I couldn’t place. It seemed that some of the items were pre-made and microwaved, could br wrong but had that hard chew feel. One of our appetizers arrived mid meal. After we paid for the meal the waitress and manager came out to tell us that they would have to charge additional for the quacomole. I found this very odd after the bill had been settled not wanting to cause an issue we just paid the additional bill. This did however leave an uncomfortable feel at the end of the meal. Probably won’t visit here again.

The food we got doesn’t even taste like it has salt, nothing came as it was ordered, the side portions are incredibly small, and communicating with them has turned into more of a headache than it was worth since they blamed us for their faulty communication system. We don’t want free food, we want a refund on food we can’t eat, but they aren’t budging. Have you ever deconstructed take-out so you could cook it into something edible? I should have just ordered ingredients.

We decided tonight to try the newest Mexican restaurant here in town. I’m keeping in mind it’s only been open a few days, and yes, like any, some kinks to work out. The staff were all friendly and quick with drinks and food. The atmosphere is nice enough. Warm, and inviting. We REALLY enjoyed the salsa that we started with. Chunky, in a fine kind if way, some solid garlic flavor and a bit of bite to it. Excellent.. the cheese dip also good. Just a bit if heat in it, but nothing crazy or overpowering. I ordered the bean and chicken nachos. They were hot, cheese was melted through. But that was where it ended. Just not much flavor to the meal. A few peppers mixed in but didn’t add any flavor. The chicken was bland, and resembled canned chicken in taste and texture. The serving size wasn’t too bad for the price, around $8. My wife’s meal bean burrito, cheese enchilada, and tostada. Most of the meal was not even warm. Cheese not melted on the enchilada.
In the end, they’ve got potential to be pretty good. Still new and need to work things out. Not terrible by any means, so it will likely and hopefully improve in the coming weeks/months.

Friday night, wife, daughter and I came back for our second time to La Huerta. Wife and daughter had cocktails, I had water. We enjoyed the chips and salsa.. Wife had steak Fajita nachos, daughter had Fajitas Quesadilla and I had the chicken and steak Fajitas. We had to get 3 to go boxes, and I asked for extra flour tortillas (3). Service was quick and accurate.

Loved this place in Columbus. First time visiting. Elvira and Elizabeth were so sweet, helpful, and very attentive. Great variety of delicious food and fruity drinks. The desserts are a bomb!

This was our second visit to La Huerta. Our server was quick and attentive and super sweet. I do NOT like sour mix and asked if the spicy margarita could be made with lime juice instead. The bartender came over to the table and confirmed what wanted AND walked it over and had me taste it to make sure Iiked it. It was amazing btw. I love a spicy margarita and it was delicious! We had the fresh guac which was perfectly seasoned. Salsa was great as well. I had the #71 which was grilled chicken, mushrooms and onions with rice and steamed veges. It was so well seasoned and I took half home. My boyfriend had the #31 which was a burrito stuffed with steak and chorizo, beans and rice and topped with a chipotle cream sauce. I would eat the sauce on anything! It was that good. It took was huge(like Cali burrito size) and he could only eat half. The manager stopped by our table while we were there as well. I cannot complain about a single thing and this is now our New Mexican spot! Also disclaimer! I took a photo of my margarita when it was fresh but didn’t think to take food pics until we were full! So the food pics are only about half of the serving.

I only get one thing the guacotacos, they are lettus wrap chicken tacos, make sure to ask for the spicy salsa. They are amazing. The decor is pretty different, however the servers are kind of slow to respond to needs; refill, ordering and getting your check.
