Loved the ribeye, and margaritas were so delicious. Have to try the bean/queso dip. Staff was friendly and brought out the food in a timely manner. Best authentic mexican food in Tulsa. Highly recommended

A Breath of Fresh (and Spicy) Air!
If you’re tired of the same heavy, overdone dishes that seem copied and pasted from every other Mexican restaurant, this is your reset button. The food here is light, fresh, and absolutely packed with flavor — every bite felt thoughtfully crafted, not just thrown on a plate.
The New Mexican twist adds such a unique flair. You can taste the difference — bright chilies, layered spices, and ingredients that feel vibrant and clean. I left feeling satisfied, not stuffed or sluggish. And the portions are just right — generous without being overwhelming.
The atmosphere is just as refreshing — upbeat, colorful, and fun without being loud or chaotic. Perfect for a relaxed dinner, a date night, or just a casual get-together with friends.
I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s easily one of my new favorite spots, and I’ll definitely be coming back! ️

I’m originally from San Antonio, Texas, so I know authentic Mexican food and culture. After moving to Oklahoma about a year and a half ago, I really struggled to find that same sense of home here until I discovered La Huerta in Broken Arrow. This place is great! The food is great, the atmosphere is vibrant, and the music just transports me back to home back in San Antonio. I have to give a special shoutout to Maria, she is so warm and welcoming, she treats you like family every time you walk in. I can’t recommend La Huerta enough it’s hands down the best Mexican food in the Tulsa and Broken Arrow area!

Many Mexican restaurants in the area have the same boring Mexican stuff (Tacos, burritos again and again) but the food at this restaurant is Delicious and tasty! We get the “Parrillada” for two: Carne Asada, Chicken breast, chorizo, shrimp, rice, beans, tortillas and a little big of guac. Out of this world! They do their own tortillas, you can see their machine at the entrance of the restaurant. We really enjoyed + good service. They make the effort to pleased the
customers. Rigo always give good service with his team. They have an area for private parties. If you live in Tulsa, Broken Arrow or surrounding areas this restaurant is a most.

Went to La Huerta Grill for the first time tonight for dinner in response to heavy advertising for “Taco Tuesday” with low priced Margaritas and street tacos. We were seated soon after entering lobby and seated in the bar. We chose a pub table because the booth we were given had a rocking table. It was corrected quickly but we liked the pub table since we were established. Rigo and Ramon both took care of us through dinner. I have a severe allergic reaction to Cilantro; and in many restaurants were it is usually in lots of food items and limits my choices, Rigo and Ramon made sure my order did not have any. They brought me queso while my wife had their salsa that she said was very good. They even had fresh guacamole made for me without Cilantro and it was some of the best I’ve had! We really liked the food. My Camarones a la Diabla, with 3 tortillas, was very spicy as expected, and my ala carte al Pastor street taco was excellent. Service was very good [the right hand did know what the left hand was doing] and other staff was attentive too. The young girl at the counter at the entrance made fresh tortillas, cleaned used menus and seated new arrivals too—impressive attention to details all around. Mauricio Sanchez, singing at the fireplace, started right after 6 PM and had a nice voice and was pleasant to hear while there. We will be back.

If you haven’t tried La Huerta Grill in Broken Arrow at 71st & 129th, you’re missing out! This was my second visit, and this time they accommodated a group of 24 people without a problem. I called ahead to let them know our party size, and our table was ready when we arrived. They even gladly changed the TV to the OU game when I requested it. The food? Always delicious! The queso is the best I’ve ever had and served at the perfect temperature, with fresh chips and flavorful salsa to go with it. Last time I got the fajitas, and this time I tried the Steven’s Special with shrimp on top—both are amazing! My sister-in-law ordered the Molcajete, which looked incredible; I’m definitely trying that next time! If you’re looking for a great place to eat, give La Huerta Grill a try—you won’t regret it!

Saw the sign, Taco Tuesday and Margarita!
Someone read my mind. So I had to do a U turn!
I can’t remember what was here at this location, but it certainly was not La Huerta Grill. This is a new restaurant and I didn’t have time to try things out in the menu.
I was on the two items specific, hard shell beef taco and margarita!
The main entrance is on the side, it appears like a small greeting like a hotel entrance.
Very tall doors and ceiling which made you feel very grand! And nicely, very nicely decorated!
Food: the beef on the hard shell taco, was dead on, for flavor!
The margarita, as I expected would be overly sweet, for my taste!
The manager came by and very nicely asked how everything thing! … … blah blah blah!
He said, next time, ask for skinny margarita, I will make it for you!
Very considerate of him.
Much appreciated!

Architecturally this is the same as any building that’s been here before. This place is very clean. The staff is very friendly. It feels very authentic. They have really good prices expensive to medium to low and they also have a create your own menu for those that don’t like a heavy meal at dinner time. this is a definitely return to place.
Side note. Tuesday’s. $1.99 street tacos. $1.99 margs. Saturday nights. $3.99 margaritas and live music.
