Wow, I am impressed! The kids have been wanting sushi lately so we stopped in tonight and everything was incredible! Hiro was so friendly and welcoming, answering our questions about different rolls and we had a great conversation with her. Everything tasted fresh and the presentation was very nice. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a great evening Hiro.

A hidden gem that beautifully blends authentic Japanese sushi with dreamy desserts!

La HIRO instantly charmed me with its cozy and peaceful vibe—soft lighting, minimalist decor, and touches of Japanese art that set a calming tone. The food? Truly memorable.

The sushi and sashimi were top-tier—fresh, thick-cut, and beautifully plated. The grilled unagi was rich, flavorful, and drizzled with just the right amount of sweet soy glaze.
The matcha cake blew me away—light, airy, and not overly sweet, with hints of red bean layered in. A perfect pairing with their fresh-brewed green tea.
We also enjoyed a lovely sake and tea service that added to the relaxed, refined experience.

Service was warm, genuine, and unrushed—exactly what you’d want in a place like this. Bonus points for their cake fridge—it’s hard to resist taking a slice or two to go!

If you’re craving sushi and sweets in one spot (and done right), La HIRO is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back.

Lovely family owned restaurant. Reservation only so make sure you call before you go.
Recommendation:The pasta is quite interesting, very strong sweet and sour flavor(I assume they only put ketchup in), different from the pastas we usually had.

This restaurant is really nice and the environment is very serene, not a place to bring small children. Wife and Husband run this restaurant with the wife waiting and the husband doing the cooking. The wife was very warm when waiting my table.

I started with the shrimp tempura with mixed veggies that came along with a semi sweet sauce. The shrimp was delicious, tasted fresh, and lightly fried to perfection. Next I had the shrimp tempura sushi roll with shrimp and tuna Nigri. This was delicious as well and enjoyed it.

I finished off with the basic ramen, which was just excellent and very light. Definitely will be ordering this again. Overall I loved this restaurant, the atmosphere, and the drink varieties offered.

Sushi was excellent. Freshest around.
The “spicy roe pasta” was not spicy at all and very bland. Forgot to get picture of it.
The omelet rice dish was very tasty .
Def going back for the sushi!

Absolutely phenomenal place. The staff is incredibly friendly, kind, and hospitable. The tempura was crispy, soft, and flavorful. The sashimi was insanely good quality and felt like butter. We will be back!

Authentic, delicious Japanese food with more interesting options than this area’s Japanese restaurants offer. Their specials are always fantastic, desserts are perfect (not too sweet & beautiful), the space is spotless/super clean & the owners are very welcoming. We love it & it is worth our 25 minute drive to get there!

Such a charming little Japanese restaurant! The lady serving us was very sweet, and the food was delicious. Definitely the closest we’ve come to feeling like we’re back in Japan!

I unfortunately forgot to take pictures of our entrees, but we got two of the weekly specials, the tonkatsu curry and the bento w/ sushi and tempura.
