This was our first dinner reservation for our week long stay and I’m just happy we got it out of the way. The food was bad. How is it possible to bring out our appetizers a minute after ordering? Then our mains 3 minutes later? Is everything just sitting under a heat lamp until someone orders it? My Taco Bell orders take longer to put together than this place. The tortillas were soggy. The BBQ chicken quesadilla was covered in this melted plasticy cheese. Everything is somehow soft and stale at the same time. The desserts were good.

This was the first restaurant reservation we had booked and it was disappointing to say the least. We were waiting to have our order taken for about 30mins, we couldn’t find anyone to flag down to take our order. We then waited approx. 30-40mins for food to come out and our mains were served first. When we asked what happened to our appetisers, they acted bemused as if they didn’t know that we hadn’t received it. They suddenly brought us our appetisers within a few minutes. All of the food was cold and sub standard, definitely not Mexican!! I get better Mexican in the UK! Service is really poor and not attentive at all!! Not what you would expect for a resort especially as we have been to many and this is by far the worst service!

Unforgettable experience!!! Amazing views on the mountains and cute cute dog Benjo i guess the owner of this adventure park) Will definitely recommend la hacienda to visit, planning of the trip is very well done, staff are trained and speak good English, we really enjoyed this excursion. It has zip line, buggies fast jump and horse riding! Even the lunch is included. Also we loved that horses are very loved there, well approached

We booked in advance and still had to wait 15 mins.
We ordered an array of dishes from the menu and it’s safe to say we didn’t finish them. The enchiladas… well the pictures speak for themselves. Soggy tortillas, dry unseasoned shredded chicken soaked in sauce.
My partner ordered the sirloin fajitas, they looked like chicken! Totally unseasoned too.
We expect the food to be average in an all inclusive resort but this was shocking..

Not for vegetarians. Nor are any a la carte restaurants in the Grand Bavaria Princess. The only decent food for vegetarians is at the buffet. Basically every menu item at this restaurant has meat in it and they don’t sub.

I don’t often complain, and rarely do I write a 1 star review. But an hour and 10 minutes and they hadn’t served our main dishes. The appetizers were honestly disgusting. Margaritas were a laughable attempt. Walked out and went to the buffet. Wish I could get a refund on my wasted time.

This was one of our favorite a la carte options at the resort. The decoration is colorful and festive.
Keep in mind that this restaurant is near the beach. If you are staying at the Family Club and need the shuttle, give yourself some extra time to make your reservation. The shuttle is very busy during dinner time and we needed to wait a few trains.
