Me and my family have been going to this place since I moved here in 2007. In the past it has been our go to for visits with family and friends or just for a nice dinner together. This past year this place has rapidly gone downhill fast. Tonight, was the final straw for us. We ordered some takeout, and we were missing a serving of rice and beans and the tortillas that went with my wife’s fajitas. I called to get the situation resolved and my options were to come back down and get it or I can receive a credit next time we were in. Bringing it out was not an option. So basically, my only choice was to take a credit from a place that we never intend to go back to. I spoke to the manager I was not happy with my options. I let him know we have frequented this place several times but would never be back. His reply was ok thank you and then he hung up the phone on us. Add poor service to already declining food. I may not matter as a customer and they can dismiss me and my business easily, but I will make sure I tell everyone I know about how you all take care of your customers and conduct business. Update: It only took a year to get a response from management. In the mean time my 1 star review has gotten over 8k views. Every customer matters and even one unhappy customer can make a big impact. Good luck in the future.

AMAZING FOOD !! If you are looking for some really good authentic, worth the $$ Mexican food…
This is the place for you! I have ate here personally around 12 times and hasn’t ever been a disappointment. The location and outside of the building kinda throws you off but it is a great place and deserves to be in better higher – end location.
Most of the staff is friendly and welcoming and food is delicious!
I also recently turned 21, the margaritas are about $13 each the glass they are served in are a decent size and always taste really good. I would suggest getting the ( Lime or Strawberry ) margarita.
If you are going to La Hacienda your first time or overall in general I suggest for your entree getting the “ Arroz Con Pollo” with beef and extra rice or the “ Enchilada supreme “ They are both soo amazing!
Definitely add this place to your list to visit in South Carolina or if you are a local you need to go!! 🙂

The food was great and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. My only complaint was the outrageous prices! $10 kids menu meals, and closer to $20 per adult plate. I took my 3 kids while in town, and after the tip, our bill was almost $100! This included 2 kids meals and 2 adult meals, and no alcohol. I’m not sure if we will be returning, which is unfortunate.

Very good and typical Mexican Cuisine. I always make a point to eat the combos the first time I visit a new location. “The House” served us quickly with good standard options: tacos, enchiladas, and ACP.
Interior decor is above and beyond expectations.

I’m giving this restaurant because their food was good. Took over 10 minutes to get out drink order but overall it was good. Their margarita needed more flavor, it was very bland. I got the red cheese enchiladas and they were awesome. I’m straight up 100% Mexican and my boyfriend is white. We did not think their red sauce had a kick of spicy at all. But their sauce is homemade and authentic and it was good. I would definitely give them another visit. Good experience overall

Walked in for a beer and a quick bite to eat with my buddy and I kid you not the waitresses stared at us the entire time. It was the weirdest thing- we were both quiet, polite, still tipped our server 25% and left.

This is the second time that I’ve eaten here the first time I ate here there was absolutely nobody in the restaurant and the food was delicious then however then I wasn’t gluten free. This time we went on a Wednesday evening and we were a party of eight. Since my friend who I came here with was also gluten-free she recommended a few items on the menu that I was able to choose from and ate. The food was delicious very filling place was a little noisy like I said it was a Wednesday night full of tourists and others but all in all the atmosphere was very nice the service was outstanding and the food absolutely satisfied my palate.
The one thing I do have to complain about was the tidiness of the floor maybe because it was so crowded I’m not sure but the floor was absolutely filthy.

Every time I walk in the door I am promptly greeted with a cheerful (now masked) face! Javier is incredibly accommodating and makes the experience fun. All the employees are friendly and helpful. And the food… WOW! Home run, every time. This place is definitely a craving for me. Delicious. A+!
