Went there a week or two after the reopening.
Good food, but as the rest said, there were some issues with the service (having to ask the waitress for drinks, silverware, napkins, and so on after receiving our food.) Also had to send our food back because the waitress didn’t know the options they had listed on the menu even though we double checked with her that she knew what we wanted.

We went here for an early dinner after browsing the mall.
Our server was very nice and young, you could tell that she didn’t have a lot of experience, however, she more than compensated for that given how accommodating and nice she was, very full of energy and she came over to check on us often.
On the to the food, I ordered the chicken enchiladas which were huge, fresh and delicious. My boyfriend had the chicken quesadilla which he also thought was very good. My son wanted just Mexican rice, beans and chicken and while that wasn’t on the menu, they accommodated us with this request.
Overall, pleasant experience and great food! We’ll return here’

I am giving it one star because I can’t give a ZERO! last night was the 1st time we ever went there And it will be our last! As someone else said I have never given a bad review but I felt you should be warned. So many things to tell I don’t even know where to begin.
I’ll start with the one positive note, our waiter was very friendly and so was the owner, that’s where the compliments end.
We were originally told they were short on staff and it would be about 20 minutes until we got our food, Of course we said OK. 20 minutes turned in to 50 minutes, just to let you know the place was not crowded it was after 9 o’clock p.m. already. We were really hungry so we had to ask for more chips two times before getting them, we had to ask for napkins, we even had to ask for a knife and fork when our food came.
After approximately 35 minutes and still no food the waiter came out with a few tickets in his hand and asked us what our order was, really? We should have left then.
My husband’s order actually came out correct, my daughter being vegan just ordered corn tortillas with black beans and all the trimmings. All she got in her bean tacos were just beans, nothing else! We even advised the owner he did nothing about it, needless to say she left hungry.
I asked for a chicken taco bowl I got beef, no salsa, pico, or guacamole that I asked for. We called the waiter over, He took my beef taco bowl away and said, yes I know you ordered chicken I’ll be right back, I’ll see what I can do. He returned several minutes later with the same beef taco bowl and said oh, that’s how it came up on their screen. WTH? I really don’t care how it came up on their screen it is not what I ordered. Needless to say it was also cold.When we told the owner he apologized and said he would give us a discount.
No one dared to come back & say how is everything.
When the bill came there wasn’t any discount, really?! At minimum my meal should have been free!
When I told the waiter the owner said he would give a discount he came back with a whopping $4 deduction.
Fast forward to this AM my husband and I both woke up with a bad headache, 5 minutes ago my husband threw up violently.
This goes beyond being under staffed, there wasn’t Any good management or customer service to do the right thing. Lastly, the most important thing is headaches and getting sick the next day, kind of scary!

A bit confused by the soft opening but it seems that the menu is a bit half baked some of the staples like guacamole are not available and restaurant is still in dire need to finish renovation.
The food is solid but still not finalized. So while we did enjoy our lunch at the place I am not sure we will be visiting again any time soon.

Small portions, there was little to no meat in any of the quesadilla, food was very salty, no kids menus, way over priced, and staff was to busy hanging put with their family to tend to paying customers. We will not be returning and telling all our family and friends the same. If i was able to write the review with no stars I would.

If u like food with no flavor then here u go. Service was good but the food did not have flavor to it. The nachos were greasy, the quesadilla was bland, and the waiter waited at the table to be paid. Don’t be lured by the free drink. There was no alcohol in it. Didn’t even give us water with our drinks.

Extremely disappointed! Nachos we’re chips and what tasted like left over hamburger meat, lettuce on tacos looked liked it was heated up in microwave. And after paying $15 for Fajatis and out comes the world’s smallest portion ever. Refried beans looked like the canned cat food, scared to even try them. Will not be returning

After we had a bad experience with the last management my family and i decided to visit the restaurant ( La Hacienda Mexican Bar & Grill). Let me start by saying that any restaurant that will service the are of Stroudsburg need to have a kid friendly menu.
How can the local consumers will patronize the local restaurants when they don’t offer a kids menu. For my family and i is very important because my daughter has autism. This restaurant just reopened and they don’t offer a kids menu.
Maybe this review will help the new management in the future. I will give them an other trie in 6 months if they are still in business. I hope that they will offer a kids menu by then.

Horrible!! 3 people in the resturaunt and took over an hour to get food. Ordered a refill on the drink and never got it. Sat there for over 45 mins to get the check, until I got up and asked the hostess to get us our check because server was no where to be found. Food was good but nothing fantastic. Definitely not worth it. This place won’t be open long!!! Don’t waste your time, ruined the night all together.

Loved the service and the family atmosphere they don’t have kid menus but they said they are working on it my kids love nachos and burritos anyway will def going back soon when we are in PA 🙂
