UPDATE: I drove by there a couple days ago, 10/23/2025 and there was a sign about Opening Soon, on the south side of the building. Was I imagining this?
Saw the pic with a “NOW OPEN” sign. So we went Sunday afternoon 10/6/24. No sign. Both parking lot entrances closed off. NOT open. Did someone fake the sign in the photo just to annoy people?? Looks like a potentially nice place (gave it a 3 because I’m hoping). Won’t stay in business long if these shenanigans continue.

Not open yet, awaiting permits. It is owned by the same people as El Amigo (3 operating locations in Lawndale & Torrance) Restaurants, they have had the highest Google restaurant ratings in the area for years. My expectations are high and I can’t wait until they open. (Ex Leo’s lover).

I’m going to leave a 5 since EXROBOWIDOW left a 3 based of an old picture of the former restaurant that tricked them into think this new restaurant was open. You can see the sign in that old picture says LEOs.

I hope this place is as good as Leos was, as its big shoes to fill, as i will try it soon, i will give it a 5 star with high hopes, but if its not a 5 star after i go, i will change it accordingly. good luck La Hacienda Amigo!
