I had such a wonderful experience at La Hacienda Del Amigo in El Paso. The food is made fresh right after you order, and you can truly taste the difference in every bite.
The huevos rancheros were absolutely incredible — hands down some of the best flavor I’ve ever had. The steak with huevos, rice, and beans was extremely delicious, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. Everything tasted authentic, homemade, and full of real Mexican flavor.
You can tell they care about quality and tradition. If you’re looking for true, authentic Mexican food made fresh with amazing flavor, this is the place.

Amazing tacos!! We are driving through on our way across the country and were craving Mexican food. We decided to stop here, as it was really cute and right off the highway. The man working here was so nice and friendly. We were able to sit outside with our dog and he brought us 2 plates of tacos. I highly recommend stopping here! Everything was very fresh and tasted great. The quality of the beef was also amazing. Do yourself a favor and stop here!

Very rich Mexican food in an unassuming house. Atmosphere feels more like a loving family’s dinning room than a restaurant. An excellent caldo de res. Great broth, add homemade salsa for bite. Beef very tender and soft, full of amazing flavor. Great price for great food.

Im an otr truck driver and was sitting in my truck a little stir crazy and hungry, I looked on the maps to see what was around. There was your typical fast food and truck stop trash in the area, but then I seen this little gem! and if you know me you know I’ll take a hole in the wall over a 5star restaurant any day. So I walked over from the petro lot not even 1/8th of a mile away. I was immediately greeted like family and served promptly. These guys knocked it out the park real deal homemade food! I got the steak fajita burrito it had rice, beans, steak an fajita veggies on it wrapped in a flour tortilla… any time im in the area ill be back to visit my new friends! Stop in a getcha a bite!…my only regret was not gorging on more thos place is delicious!

Been here 4 times now and have 0 complaints. The chef is a one man operation and it is a bit of a wait for your food but when he brings it out it’s fresh off the skillet and full of flavor! He’s been very nice every time to my family and I and the Fresca is delicious also.

If I could eat more food I would… I haven’t had a Mexican food meal that tasted this good & homemade in a longgg time.
Usually when you go somewhere the beans are so bland you can’t eat them by themselves because they don’t taste good at all, and rice might as well be cardboard… HERE everything taste so good ☺️
