The food here was absolutely delicious — so authentic and full of flavor! You can really taste the love and effort put into every dish. What stood out even more was the amazing service. There was only one waitress working, and she handled everything with such grace, kindness, and hard work. She truly went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of. She definitely deserves recognition for her effort! Highly recommend this restaurant — great food and even greater dedication.

This was my first time eating here, and it definitely won’t be my last! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Dani—truly one of the sweetest and most professional servers I’ve ever met. Her kindness and energy made us feel like longtime friends, and her service was absolutely exceptional. If I could give her 100/5 stars, I would.

The food was just as impressive. I ordered the chile relleno, and my boyfriend had the carne asada fajitas—both dishes were among the BEST Mexican meals we’ve ever had, and we’re huge Mexican food fans. I know I’ll be dreaming about my dinner tonight!

Huge compliments to the chef and to Dani for giving us one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. We can’t wait to come back. ¡Muchas gracias!

The waitress tried her best for what we were given. I have never had anyone in service argue with us when things were wrong. I can see why this place is only good for breakfast. Do not come here for dinner.
The chips were stale. The salsa was runny and oily. The tea was watered down and they only offered Sweet N Low and not even Splenda.
The Barbecoa was like greasy beef jerky. The bread was hard and burnt.
The Enchilada plate was dry and covered in crema and cojita. I will never be back here again.

We randomly found this restaurant, and we really enjoyed our meal. The food was delicious and it is authentic Mexican breakfast. The service was great, our server was super sweet and friendly. The food came out fast. We are definitely coming back, even though we do not live near Katy! Gracias

Located in a gas station strip center, this place had all the authentic trappings of a taco stand with the comfort, bigger menu, and hospitality of a sit down restaurant.

Everything tasted fresh and made with love, and all we had was breakfast tacos. Fresh tortillas and the cinnamon notes in the coffee sealed the deal.

My wife, her friend, and I were the first three people seated for the day, but our server still ran around tending to us as if the restaurant were full of hungry guests. It was charming and spoke volumes. My wife and her friend have breakfast here together every week, and I’m grateful to have been invited to this humble little spot.

Can’t wait to come back for dinner one day.

It was our first time visiting La Guarecita. Food and service were amazing! We went for breakfast—had Migas and breakfast tacos. Salsas and coffee are also excellent. They have a great menu and we can’t wait to come back and try more!

Wow. This place was phenomenal. We ordered queso to start, and then enchiladas al carbon and street tacos. Service was amazing. As soon as we walked in, she greeted us and was so complimentary. Gave us a boost of confidence as we pigged out lol. Highly recommend!

Found on Google during road trip back to Florida decided we wanted Mexican food one last time before we leave Texas. Place was completely empty when we arrived. Food took a long time even though we were only ones in the place. My son got a gringa asked for no onions or bell pepper and he got both. No biggie he will eat them just prefers with out. But i guess the cast iron was too hot because the bottom was charred. I don’t like to send food back so he picked what he could. My husband and I got chilaquilles, which arrived just luke warm. Some of the chips were so hard we had to spit out as they could not be chewed. My husband asked for fajita with his and it was cold but it tasted like the meat was either old or had been stored in the fridge uncovered. It had a weird taste. Sorry not a fan.
