Ok so I’ve been here twice ℹ usually get just a toasted Cuban bread with cheese and it’s amazing. So I love BLT sandwiches. So I decided to go there this morning. I get it the bacon is burnt and cold when I bite into it. So I take it back the lady up front is sweet. So I’m thinking they going to remake it nope the guy changed the bacon a give me back my sandwich that I bit into. I’m like this is horrible! I’m late to work so I’m pissed. Wow the price !!! Ridiculous! 3 dinner plates and 3 canned sodas $53.00 +, I always spend $13 tops per dinner plate with two sides and a soda! Food wasn’t the worst but definitely not a Cuban joint, who ever is cooking doesn’t have the right recipes for that Cuban food taste/texture..

I always order the pork empanadas here and they’re very good. Today i ordered pork, ham and cheese empanadas and i was disappointed. Although the pork it’s good, it’s ripped in long pieces and when you take a bite you pull most of the pork out. Also, the ham and cheese it’s almost inexistent, so it’s basically a roasted pork empanada. I told them about it and they didn’t even asked if i wanted something different.

I love this place! The cafe con leche is excellent, and the breakfast empanadas are a must try, but they sell out most days so stop by early. I even came back for lunch, and I was not disappointed. The pork was some of the best I have ever had…ask and they will break off a piece of the crispy pork skin!! The yucca was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I have not had anything here I did not like.

The food is decent but the customer service is disgusting. I’m Colombian and this is a Cuban restaurant. I’ve never in my 22 years of living dealt with this before. I go there about once a month and today I went there. Tried to order the same stuff and asked for the rice with pulled pork. The lady clicked her tongue and told me no because I was not Cuban while staring at me disgustingly. Like I was gonna dirty the place for eating that pork. LOL. I was dumbfounded. Food is good but the people don’t like non Cubans. Not going there again
