I live in Morgantown and recently started a job in Bridgeport. I had to go to Auto Zone on my lunch break, so I was researching places in that area to grab food. Much to my delight, La Guadalupana popped up, and their menu looked intriguing. I made the quick decision to order the taco lunch special, choosing brisket as the meat. From the first bite to the last I was in heaven. A large portion for $9 which included black beans and rice. The brisket was tender, juicy, and flavored with warm spices. They provided green sauce and red sauce. I usually prefer red, but their green sauce was fantastic! The service was friendly and very fast. I will definitely be back!!

The food is authentic Mexican food. I’m not just saying that, it really is, as I’m Mexican myself. Being so far away from the homeland and finding a place that feels like home, deep in Appalachia, is so awesome and comforting. They are extremely friendly, speak English for non-Spanish speakers and will fluent speak Spanish with you.
They also have a small shop in the entrance where you can purchase imported foods, ingredients and sweets. I had to stock up myself of candy before I headed back into the woods! The decorations are great and I was even allowed to add my own old license plate from when I lived in California to their wall! I will definitely be returning here in the future for as long as they remain and I remain here also! Try the caldo de res! It’s great for cold or rainy days!

Friendly service, hot, delicious, authentic, perfect portion size. The dining area is small. But as long as the food stays delicious I will be happy sitting next to a new friend. The Margarita special was also very good. This was my first time trying it out, and I will be back for sure. If you have not gone yet, I would go here and try something new. I wasn’t sure what to order, and my server was very helpful and honestly offered his favorites. He knows what he is talking about and recommended great tasting options.

I came in for happy hr LAWD the drinks were so good if you have to many you would have to ask for a pillow because you definitely won’t be able to drive home lol. This place is a must visit.

Guadalupana is exactly the kind of authentic experience you’re looking for when you’re craving real Mexican cuisine. The food here is delicious and this place absolutely delivers on quality and service. The people are extremely nice and after I was done I got to chat with the owner for a while. She recommended some of their popular dishes and explained their breakfast options as well.
This place is not shy about quantity either. The food portions are just as amazing as the taste. Even their street tacos come loaded! You won’t leave here hungry.
The owner said their working to get established with doordash soon so you’ll be able to have this food delivered to you before long.
Highly recommend eating here if you haven’t already. I’ll be bringing lots of people to come eat here in the future.

Absolutely delicious! All the ingredients were super fresh and the food came out super hot! Our server was very helpful and sweet. Not pictured, my boyfriend got the buffalo wings and thought they were good as well! I love how diverse the menu is! Quality food for a great price

THE ONLY TRULY AUTHENTIC MEXICAN RESTAURANT, it does have American Mexican as well for those who like it basic but amazing quality… but for those of you who crave authentic and over the top flavor of Mexico here it is!!! (No disrespect to any other restaurant in any way… but this is crazy good!)

Starting off, it’s more of a hidden gem/hole-in-the-wall. They give you huge portions for great prices and complimentary chips and salsa on top of that. There’s an overwhelming amount of options to choose from, so it might take you a while to decide. Luckily, the staff are friendly and patient.
I got the Grill Chimichanga and my girlfriend got the Molcajete. Our server cautioned us that the latter was big, like “two plates” big. However, it could easily feed 3-4 people. For $25, the amount of food you get is insane. In total, we got enough food for like 5-6 people for $55. Everything had so much flavor as well. I definitely wanna come back to try more!
The only negatives were that we had to ask for silverware and napkins, but it’s understandable considering a sizable amount of the menu is finger food.
