The steak fajita quesadilla with rice and beans was excellent. Seasoned and grilled perfectly. Rice and beans were really good too. The salsa verde was fresh, good and a little heat kick. Steak empanadas and chorizo taco really good as well.

La Guadalupana serves good food, and provides good service to all customers. I’m glad to have the chance to dine here when I can! I listed below pictures some food dishes; photo 1 – torta de pollo con horchata. photo 2 – torta de asada con piña. I absolutely loved the torta I had!! If you have never been, consider giving this restaurant a chance. It is located across IGA, near Papa John’s.

This is one of those places that you know will be delicious as soon as you drive up. The restaurant is a converted single family home with a gravel parking lot. As soon as you walk in you are hit with the smells of home cooking. The meal was absolutely dynamite, it was fresh and delicious, and only one person in my party was able to finish their meal, and he’s a fifteen year old soccer player. I was able to feed myself and two teenage soccer players with tons left over for $40. I highly recommend.

Your soul will be satisfied after eating at this place. A single family home converted into a small dining place. Every ingredient is fresh and authentic. Ask for some additional hot sauce if you like a little spicy touch to your food. Hosts are friendly and kind. Amazing dining experience.

I had the most amazing quesadilla and she had some amazing food as well. The service and food quality are phenomenal.
I asked about their hours of service since when you drive past it rarely looks like they are open. He did they are open 7 days a week from 11AM to 7PM.
If you are in the area I highly suggest you give this place a shot. It was super!
FYI… if you aren’t looking carefully you can drive right by it because it looks like a house.

Best Mexican restaurant in Cookeville, hands down. The fajita quesadillas are incredible, with really tender slow roasted and marinated chicken in the chicken version, and delicious and juicy marinated shrimp in the shrimp version. The carnitas tacos are also AMAZING. Having tried Mexican cuisine everywhere from Houston, Texas to Cancun and Cozumel, I can confidently say this place is a shining example of authentic Mexican food.
