I had my daughter’s bridal shower here in April. The room upstairs was decorated to perfection. The food and service were beyond superb. Ronnie the manager went above and beyond. The staff were friendly, efficient, and extremely attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant. My husband and I have eaten here multiple times and the food is positively delicious and always fresh . We are NEVER disappointed!!

Last Night was my third time coming to this restaurant and I have to say they NEVER disappoint. Food is amazing here from the bread, baked clams, shrimp scampi & of course the lava cake. It was all delicious and portions are great. Definitely recommend for a nice dinner date close to home with an elegant feel.

Food was excellent. Dishes were served family style. Went for a 50th Wedding Anniversary party and had the upstairs room. Difficult for the older people but room was self sufficient with it’s own restrooms. Plenty of time between courses to mingle.

I can’t believe it has been a few days since my wedding reception. I cannot thank the staff at La Grotta enough for their hard work and especially Ron, the event manager for making our day special. Ron made sure that everything ran smoothly and that we have nothing to worry about. The room was decorated beautiful. The upstairs space was great! The recent renovations in the upstairs space came out wonderful. The food was plentiful and so good!! My family and friends especially raved about their Penna A La Vodka, Chicken Park and the White fish dish. I would definitely booked and hold my event at La Grotta. as long as Ron is their their you have nothing to worry about!

Excellent food, great quality and amazing taste. Everything is delicious and the staff are so friendly and accommodating! Great spot to dine on old fashioned Italian family style dinners, which are far and few between nowadays! This place is a true neighborhood Gem!

Went there with my family and from the beginning it was horrible. Waitress was very rude and didnt fully know what she was talking about. Then the owner came over and started to be rude cause we had a question about the groupon. Ended up getting charged an extra 85 dollars over the cost of the coupon.

Old-style Italian restaurant featuring predictable Italian fare. Food quality was quite good and portions were enormous. I would have given this place a higher rating but the chef/catering manager came through the dining room smoking a cigar (!!!) Which totally nauseated me and completely ruined my meal.
Granted it was the end of the evening and there was just another table of diners with whom he was discussing a catered affair but really..a stinky cigar in a restaurant? I felt totally disrespected. Bottom-line…avoid unless you are Tony Soprano!

I came here for a farewell party expecting the food to be average. I was pleasantly pleased. Although the appetizers (calamari) had chunks of salt on it, the other appetizers were tasty (baked clams, eggplant, artichoke).The main courses were all wonderful. The steak was cooked perfectly with an over abundance of onions. The chicken parm was thin and breaded well. The salmon was moist and flavorful.

Decor inside is nicer than you would expect , food was good. Place was empty, only ones there. Didn’t feel very welcoming, and don’t appreciate tips automatically being added to the bill, we were only two, not a party, so won’t be going back.
