Well, this place is super bomb!!!! Top 3 Mexican restaurants I’ve been to in the state of Utah. The service is great and the food, man, if I could handle it, I’d eat more and more. We will definitely be back. Greatest Place in Mid-Central Utah. I wish we had one in Tooele County.

We grabbed tacos to go on our drive from Bryce to Moab, and options on that route are pretty limited—especially in the evening. Ordering online was super smooth and the tacos were really good. We tried the chicken and the ground beef, and both were great. Simple, tasty, and very budget-friendly in the best way. Would 100% recommend for an easy, affordable stop on the road.

Highly recommend. I love everything I have tried here. The chicken chimichanga and steak quesadilla are my favorite. Wonderful Service, very fast and clean restaurant.

We’ve been dining regularly at La Gringa as a family for almost 3 years. It’s not only our favorite Mexican restaurant in the area, but our favorite restaurant of any type in the area.
I love the atmosphere with the bright colors and the music. The staff are helpful and prompt. They always check on us many times throughout our meal.
Don’t worry about reviews mentioning the size and limitations of the eating area because they’ve expanded recently. There’s plenty of seating now.
The portions have been generous in our experience. Even the kids menu dishes are large.

Food:
Bad: Chips were hard. Salsa seemed old and cold. The flour tortillas that came with the Fajita meal were hard and dry. The beef in the beef Fajita meal was dry.
Good: Refried beens were tasty.
Quesadilla was large and extra cheesy. Street tacos (chicken) were good.
Atmosphere: What bugged us a lot were the flies. We sat by the window area as you come in on the right. Just feel that a restaurant should be able to control these disease-carrying pests a bit better especially since there is a lot of food around.
Service: meals seemed like it took a long time to prepare. We asked for a spoon and it never arrived and no one came to refill our water glasses.
Small other comment: digital display said the correct day and month but the year was 2003 so felt like we were in a Back to the Future movie

Maybe it was the fact that I’d been hiking all morning and was famished, but this was the best meal I’d had in the last week! Service was fast, the tortillas came out steamy, and the bistec was flavorful and delicious! My coworker couldn’t speak highly enough of the tamales he got either. Highly recommend to anyone passing through.

Didn’t expect to have to pay for the chips and salsa, which are usually included in the price at every Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to.
Other than that, the food was good and the portions quite generous.

FOOD: the burrito enchilada meal is amazing and their asada fries are very flavorful and pretty. Probably the best Mexican rice in the state.
SERVICE: not too great but not horrible.
ATMOSPHERE: the restaurant definitely needs some upgrades.
