The best!! Reasonable prices, nice portion & full of flavor. Those red beans. Yummy. Headed there now to pick up for a bday party!!

They are not polite at all. They act like you’re getting something for free. Don’t go there; these people don’t deserve to be in business.

The place is a small and modest but cozy, and the service is friendly. The food is good and the prices are too.

Oh where do I begin… the guy taking my order was grabbing the tostadas you serve customers with his hands and eating as I waited for my much craved ceviche that when I finally got it all I could do is wonder if this was actually a Peruvian restaurant because Peruvian ceviche is usually the best but this looked and tasted NOTHING like any Peruvian ceviche I’ve ever had. The ceviche mixto had all fish, 2 shrimps and some calamari and just tasted like pure lemon. Worst $18 spent on a ceviche ever! I rather drive to Elizabeth or Rahway then go to this place ever again.

I had no choice but to give this place 1 star but 1 Star is to much, if I could I’d give it a negative number instead. The food was old & gross!!! The chicken was extra dry & had been at least 1 or 2 days refrigerated then reheated. The Chaufa had a funny spoiled taste. Do not waste your money here! It is expensive & the food is disgusting! Should have taken the other reviewers advice…

Customer Service was ok. They didn’t have everything listed on the menu (because it was available last week…?)
We ordered the pollo a la plancha with tau tau rice… it was delicious! Very well seasoned and portion was huge. We also ordered the tallererin verde with churrasco. The churrasco was not skirt steak but entrana. And the verde sauce was watered down and did not taste good. The papa a la huacaina was good too.

Ordered the Tallarín a la Huancaina with Bistec and the plate was full of oil. You could actually see the oil spilling every time you grabbed some tallarín. The steak was dry and had no flavor at all. We also got a jar of chicha and it had an onion taste. We couldn’t have more than two sips.

My very large portion of pollo saltado for less than $20 was delicious! My usual spot around the corner was closed so I found this last-minute, grateful I did! Cash-only restaurant.

This resteraunt only gets 2 stars cause of the food. My girl is peruvian and only eat here because of that and he location, i could easily go to La caravana in belleville. Main problem is the red head girl in front who rushes to take your order over the phone and is rude when you go pick up your food in person. Manager has to change her attitude and teach her about customer service. I think when you wait almost an hour for food and was told 20 minutes, green sauce should be thrown in at that point. She said “yea right” and charged me for it, lol.
I barely write reviews but had to do it for this bad experience.
