Our first time dining in and we all enjoyed our food. We order take out spring last summer. Not crazy about the set up in the restaurant. Wish it was more spacious. It’s not fancy but the food is delicious so we would go back again.

My family and I bought desserts from this place. Their gelatin had fungus, the rice pudding smelled terrible and we didn’t realized their desserts were pretty much expired until we arrived home. They reimburse all the desserts we returned but made me think… for a gelatin to grow fungus… how long was there for? And if this is how they handled food that is in front of customers, I don’t even want to imagine how they handle food in the kitchen.

I have dined twice at Gladys and thoroughly enjoyed the Lomo Saltado, the Hungry Man Steak, and ceviche.

Another gastronomic gem. This place was leggit! We have several dishes and all were amazing. Must try and definitely get my #fatboyapproved #gorditocomelon seal of approval. Food was great, atmosphere was on point, staff was attentive and quick, and prices are reasonable for the great food.

Stick to simpler dishes. Stay *away from the seafood. Mussels (in entree) were the kinds you find at a Chinese buffet, and the calamari was “stringy” and inedible. Breaded chicken was inedible, ceviche was fantastic. Just stay away from “seafood” and stick with the basics.

Food was horrible. Incredibly dry, no seasoning and ripped off for what I paid. Never will eat here again

I go to La Gladys for their ceviches, and fried yucas. Sometimes for takeout.

The food is good. It was my second or third time here and the staff is friendly. In the summer they have a back patio which I love. Looking forward to going back again soon.

Not as expected… I’m peruvian and it was disappointing. It was empty for a Sunday at 1:30, it was kind of a red flag. None of the waitresses were wearing face mask. About the food: papa a la huancaína and arroz chaufa, were good. The wantan Frito was almost burn and almost nothing inside. Leche de tigre was salted as sea water and it looked weird, something white blended on top and water at the bottom! Not sure, i will add a pic. The bisteck from bisteck a lo pobre was hard and over cook. The wing of my pollo a la brasa was burn, couldn’t even bite it. I will not go again.

The lomo saltado is great but the ceviche is very hit or miss. I got the only fish ceviche once, and it tasted unfresh and made my sister nauseous. Also, there seems to be inconsistency when you order super spicy versus normal or mild spice. By this, I mean they give you less onions and seafood when you order the less spicy one! I understand not getting as much sauce in the mild one, but it is a ripoff to be served less ingredients
