My first time there and my last … I paid almost 25 dollars for a plate of what suppose to be churrasco with black rice .. the churrasco was tough no season .. the rice was barely any rice maybe three tablespoon … The tostones was suppose to be from plantain and it tasted like pana .. it’s not worth paying for food that’s mediocre .. when ask for my son grilled chicken a piece of tough chicken that was not cooked properly and looking white with no taste to it unseasoned. Then I ask for my bill she show me a bill with my friends bill added to mine never put to bills together when ask to be spilt … The food mediocre , service not good at all .. servers where talking right in front of the customer .. last my drink 15 for a Miami vice that didn’t have any liquor, water down drink . What a joke. Waste of money and time is what it feels like .. 88 dollars wasted do not come here ..

Would never eat here again. Went to pick up orders and no one could be bothered to help me 3 people sat around giving me really dirty looks before helping. Blasting music so you can’t even hear. The place was empty so not sure i wasn’t helped and had to wait on my food.Food was mediocre at best and the place smelled liked sewer inside. 0/10 experience and do not waste your time and money here

I placed an order through Uber Eats and it literally took two hours. The pizza was very poorly presented, and I didn’t like the service at all. The customer service was terrible; my delivery driver even overheard them saying they had forgotten my order. I don’t recommend it.

I grew up in the Caribbean eating Rican, Cuban and Dominican foods so I am well versed in the food and stop at many latino places for a taste of home. This place is Cuban and has been around for quite some time. Food places many times go out of business so I stopped in to see why this one persists because I’ve never heard anyone talk about it.
I started with the Cuban Pizza. I have never found one I like and this one is no different. The cheese is different and the crust is always thick and chewy. What I do love is chorizo instead of pepperoni. Not for me but the Cuban people love it.
Next I had Breaded Palomilla with rice and beans, a childhood favorite. This one was ok, a passable version. Flavors were a tad off from what I am used to and the breading kept falling off. Again, it was ok.
The last dish was fried green plantain stuffed with shrimp in red sauce. As with the other items, just ok. Tiny shrimp from frozen or canned. Sauce was passable.
The draw for this place must be the nightlife. At lunchtime on a Thursday, the place was deserted but the prep work was a signal of things to come. An indoor and patio bar, seating inside, outdoors and in the indoor patio were more suited to a drinking and festivities. They have a stage and play various types of music like salsa, disco merengue and bachata.

We came today for lunch, we live in Orlando and often come to Tampa, and also to this location. I lost count of the amount of times we have been here because it has been a lot! But we do not regret one time! Today Yeilys took care of us like a super star! Really nice lady! She made sure that every single thing she brought was made fresh and we were happy with it because she came after to ask if we liked them. We had coffee and toast and pizza and spaghettis. Everything was AMAZING!!! There hasn’t been a time that we come here and something is not exceeding expectations. Today, we were surprised with the size of their personal pizzas. While everyone is cutting corners and making things smaller due to inflation, this location just made their portions even bigger! The personal pizza is almost the size of a family one. And the spaghetti too! That was very nice! Plus Yaileys made the experience even better! She treated us sooo nice, like we were family at home! All the people that we have been seeing here throughout the bunch of years that we have been coming here have all been really attentive and professional. Kudos to whoever manages their staff and to the management and kitchen staff for making delicious food and not being shy with the ingredients and portions! Plus, they are constantly making the place cuter. Although this is an old building, the inside was remodeled and they decorate really nice and constantly adding/changing stuff. This is definitely our fav spot in Tampa for Cuban food and Cuban pizza. Totally recommend it!!!

Great service! Food tastes awesome! Marta was a great waitress, personality for days and a great sense of humor! Only gave 4 stars because of the bathroom.

It was empty when I went to order food and take it home. She said they get busy late at night.
They used to have the best steak mildness ever, but this time (July 2025) it was tiny, skinny, overcooked, skimpy on cheese abd very little sauce.
The sides were also very small. The yucca was undercooked. What happened to my favorite Milanesa??

This place is nice, good music. It had been 5 years or more last time I visited here. But I was here a few days ago. The service that I’ve received from 2 servers was awful. I guess the only people that get well service are those who reserved a table and stayed all night spending. That makes sense. But no matter what, un clientebes un cliente asi sea por 3 minutos. Gracias anyways.

The food was really good but the waitress I had was not on top of her game. She only placed half of the food order in then said that it wasn’t ordered.. why would two people with two separate orders just want one? The environment was laid back they seem to have live music on other days. There’s a bar also.
