This has got to be some of the most authentic Mexican food in Texas City. The staff are really great people and we’ll take care of you. I don’t think you can get any better Mexican food around.

The lady who works the drive thru is nasty in every sense of the word. First of all she doesn’t use gloves when making your food. You mess with money..just disgusting. Then she always has a rude attitude. Has for years. If you don’t like your job don’t work here. Food is always good but that lady is no bueno!

Who cares about the atmosphere when the food is this good! Stumbled across this place while walking the car show 1 hour before they closed, and they still took care of us. Let me tell you, the salsa at La Gardenia was absolutely amazing. I was literally putting a spoonful on every bite of my food. If you have not been here, I highly recommend it. I wish we didn’t live so far from here, and they should sell their salsa.

The staff is friendly but OMG this was literally the worst the food I have had in a long time. My husband ordered fajitas and got a pile of ground beef? And I got nachos and it was unbelievably bland. Even salt couldn’t save it. We left the food and the table and went elsewhere.
