This restaurant is excellent! We were passing through town and popped in because we were looking for Mexican food. The portions were more than generous, but we saved room for dessert by getting takeout boxes for leftovers. We shared a fried ice cream which was also generous.

Very good Mexican restaurant. Don’t let the strip mall look fool you. It’s nice inside and the food was really good. Service right now is a little slow but that is expected with the current amount of people drawing unemployment leaving everyone short staffed. We all got the Big Quesadilla Texana. Shrimp, beef, chicken and cheese for lunch. It was very good. Service was very friendly and we’ll definitely eat there again.
Update: 2nd visit was just as good. They make sure to keep the drinks, and salsa filled. We will definitely become regulars when we visit Elkin.
