I grew up with this place as a kid and i was super excited for it to get reopened.
The staff is super nice the portions to go are HORRENDOUS the staff is nice but please make sure your dishes to go match your dine in plates

One of my absolute favorite places to eat. I grew up eating here and now take my own family to have this amazing food. The smothered burrito is second to none, as well as the service. A popular restaurant for many ethnicities, this place makes me proud to see that they don’t waver from their Mexican roots, and continue to play some of the best, classic Mexican music.

I ordered my food thru doordash and they completely messed up my order and went to the location i was greeted by a tall Hispanic lady that said she couldn’t do anything about it and I told her why not when I verified my order and they changed it ! She still even charged me for something I had already payed for !!! She raised her voice at me as well I never had a problem with this restaurant until today!! I had to leave my family eating while I had to come down to change my order just to get charged again !! Unacceptable!!

My man and I are regulars and eat here often. We get treated like VIP everytime. The food also doesn’t miss. Highly recommend the Cheese enchiladas. They are so fast too. Can’t even finish your first beer before steaming hot food is in front of you!! Anjelica is the best Waitress too!

I ordered chicken enchiladas, and the chicken was way over cooked. It seems like they cook it up in advance and use it when they get an order. Our waitress was incredible. She handled our large party of fifteen very well.

I’ve been here a handful of times since they remodeled & reopened under new management, the staff are very nice & the food is really good. I really like the ribs & getting some chips & salsa to go for snack later in the day
It is an convenient location so the community of people who live in Popular Grove can go to get a nice meal in the neighborhood. They remodeled the building so it’s a lot nicer than before. 10/10 recommend

Ordered smothered burrito and two hard shell tacos. The burrito and rice and beans was excellent the tacos wasn’t my favorite but others might like I prefer string beef not ground.
