My husband kids and I have been regulars for going on 4 years now and I have never been treated so badly like I was while placing a pick up order on the phone just now (2/28/2026 @7:23pm). The lady was very rude and short with me, she cut me off a few times and she straight up hung up on me before I could have her repeat the order I had to call back to make sure she got everything down. Its insane to me that her customer service skills are just non existent because we love this restaurant and the the people there. typically service and everything is a 10/10!

2 cheese enchilads with rice and beans and 2 smothered burritoes with side of rice and $5 tip shouldve cost $35 they charged my card $60 when i got the ticket and signed it the bill was only $48 when i got my monthly statement they charged my card for $60 i am necer going there again pay attention to your account because that is the second timr that has happen. The food was not worth the money at all and the service was a thumbs down and the place is dirty. I dont recommend this place they over charge and the people are very rude.

I’ve been coming to this same location since I was little and have always loved the food! I no longer live in Utah, but try to visit my favorite Mexican restaurant every time I come back to my home state. My dinner this particular night was exceptional. The food was right on point and the service, directly from the owner, was outstanding. We had a large party of 12 and came in an hour before closing. They didn’t bat an eye at seating us and getting our food out as fast as possible!

This place was stone cold trash. The food looked like it was cooked yesterday and reheated. The meat was like rubber and the cheese congealed. They had the audacity to charge me 15 bucks for this sorry excuse for a meal. And the bathroom was unbelievably disgusting. The smell was unbearable. Don’t eat here. A waste of money and time. You will NOT enjoy yourself.

Absolutely the BEST Mexican food on the planet. The owner is so passionate about the quality of his restaurant. He is amazing and our server Anita was an absolute sweetheart. She made us feel like we were family with her fun and positive attitude.
We have been customers for 30 years and will continue to be for many years to come. We actually drove 350 miles to get our LA Frontera fix.

Excellent Mexican food dive. The service is lightning fast and the food is great. The specials each day are really good and come out in just a few minutes. They were really helpful in suggesting gluten-free options and making sure everything was satisfactory.

The food was good, not amazing though. The prices on the menu don’t reflect how much you’re going to actually pay. The customer service was weird though. Our waiter hovered over our table and everyone else the entire time we were there and honestly made us very uncomfortable. When we went to pay the lady was sitting on a bench next to the register (totally okay because they were slow) and complained when we went to go pay because she had to get up. I told her it’s okay to take her time we were not in a rush, and she rudely and said toss is me taking my time. She also was staring at my hands and the receipt when I was signing it. After I have it back to her she made a condescending remark about my nails. I don’t think I’ll ever go back in to sit down and eat there, and there are much better takeout options out there

Couldn’t be more unhappy too take my order. Worst attitudes. Bad service, meat is usually dry. I have stopped doing to La Fronteras all together and thought I would give them a chance but that was a huge mistake. Will take my business somewhere that actually wants my money.
