I ordered a two-tier heart-shaped cake with a classic tres leches flavor and requested a whipped cream Oreo filling in the middle. Unfortunately, when it came time to serve the cake, we immediately noticed the filling was completely missing. On top of that, the cake itself was dry — nothing like the moist texture you’d expect from a traditional tres leches cake.
For the price I paid, I expected a much higher standard. Sadly, the quality did not come close. I’ve honestly had better-tasting cakes made by middle school culinary classes. This was a major letdown, especially for a custom order.

The cake is pretty but definitely not worth paying 101 dollars for and certainly not even for its size, the design isn’t even what I asked for but the color is right. The writing is even a little smudged and they didn’t put the butterflies I was shown and agreed on. I asked for them to be changed but said they didn’t have anything else available, which is very weird for a pastry shop.

Every time family gives La France another chance, it’s another mistake on a cake. Multiple events have gone to nothing but critique about the cakes and the mistakes. When brought to the attention of La France, the employees don’t even seem apologetic.
I was trying not to make this review but I also don’t see them supporting the community as a local business.
The baked goods they make are great, don’t get me wrong, they just always mess things up for us and don’t care. Hopefully I can update this for a better score next time we give them a shot.

Bro/baddie, trust me—this is the only place where I genuinely love eating cake and cookies.
Everything was so good—fresh, soft, and full of flavor.
Pro tip: If you’re planning to order a step cake, make sure to pre-order at least 2 days in advance. They don’t take last-minute orders for those. That said, even if you walk in, you’ll still find delicious, fresh cakes ready to grab.
The ambience is lovely, and the cake literally melts in your mouth. Service? Top-notch.

• 5 Choco chip cookies
• 5 Sprinkle cookies
• 1 Chocolate cake (pre-ordered, got the display one — still amazing)

This cake looked beautiful, and I was excited to taste it. Upon tasting the cake, I have never experienced such displeasure in my life. The icing tasted like medicine. I immediately contacted the bakery and was told the owner wasn’t there. My information was left for the owner; I never received a return call. A week later, I’ve tried calling 3 different times and the owner wasn’t there. I would not buy a doughnut from this bakery. Find another bakery!
