The first 2 times we were there it was magical. So very good. Then the 3rd time we got our steaks the price had gone up the thickness of the meat was about a quarter. And full of grissel. For 27$ you would think the steak would be thicker than a pre-made hamburger patty. And you could chew it. My husband said it could be an off night that we should try it again sometime. Well there are 3 of us. @ 27$ a piece that is pretty spend to not get what you want.

This rate is coming from my experience here. The food is heated up in the microwave my brisket was served cold along with my hot links. The steak is not worth almost $30 im sorry but I won’t be back unless something changes.

The best steak in Sw Oklahoma! We have been to “Kens”, Cattleman’s and every other place that has steak! I’m a steak person and you won’t go wrong with the ribeye. I haven’t tried anything else because the steaks are delicious!!!!

Took over ten minutes for them to bring me and a co worker water. Menu says all you can eat buffet and it’s not. Portions are small. Beans were cold as ice and I didn’t even bother sayin anything considering how long it took to get water. Lady came to our table a total of two times while we were there

So this is one of Duncan’s best kept secrets! La Fortuna does not advertise very much at all that I have seen most is done by word of mouth which is how my family heard about this place! It’s a small family owned shop in Duncan right off highway 81 before you get to Main Street. We always get their huge Ribeyes that they only serve on certain days of the week! Highly recommend trying this place out!!

One of the best restaurants in Duncan, possibly the state. If you only get to eat here once, get the ribeye steak, it’s one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten. The BBQ and Mexican food are fantastic!

The steaks are almost as good as my steaks my wife said it’s the closest one that she’s ever eaten too mine ! If you’re not a very big eater you have to take a doggy bag home there’s enough steak there for two people . Please go say hello to these fine folks who really care about you and how your belly fills after you eat one of there mouth watering Ribeye stakes cooked to your liking. .

The place is a dump, but sometimes dumps have the best food and La Fortuna has the best brisket ANYWHERE! Including John Mueller in Austin…Mueller wishes his brisket was this good. While I was there most people were eating the $25 ribeyes…must have been worth every penny because they were all bragging about it. If you get a chance don’t let the outside fool you (or the inside for that matter) it’s some of the best brisket anywhere. And that’s a fact! It was juicy, very flavorful not overly smokey and you get a plate full. Im not one for sauce usually but I did try their sauce and it was fantastic, not too sweet, not thick at all…more on the sour side actually like a vinegar based sauce…..but it also had quite a bit of a Mexican chili pepper side to it. Can’t quite place my finger on it but whatever it was it was awesome. Had a hard time choosing to put any sauce on it at all because the meat was wonderfull….but dang! That sauce was excellent!
