The best meal I’ve had in a LONG time. Starting with the homemade chips and salsa. Then the house (orange) margarita with Chamoy. Then the entree! I got the Plato Fondita and my husband got the Quesadilla platter. Everything on each of our plates was exceptional. My husband was especially happy that our platters came within whole fresh roasted jalapeños. Flavorful, fresh, and skillfully made. Plus the service was awesome too, our waitress patiently answered all my questions about the menu. A true gem in Redmond. We’ll be back to try the rest of the menu!

Very enjoyable dining experience. Family atmosphere with a laid back & relaxed seating area. Nice cocktails & good cold beer selection. This Mexican food is just like my tía would make when I was a young man. They had great service, too. Little family business. More folks should try this place. They really are that good. Besides, they’re local & running a fantastic business. Come support La Fondita!

This is truly a unique gem in Central Oregon. The food has a home cooked feel to it, yet elegant. Everything is made to order including freshly made chips and salsa. They even can make fresh flour tortillas to order. The staff is friendly and inviting, they come out and ask how you meal is as you are eating. The place is quaint, bright, and clean!, with several tables to sit at inside. The location is centrally located in Redmond, Oregon, easy to find northbound on 5th. The food portions are huge and the prices are quite reasonable and affordable. Try the Veggie Burrito!

I went there for the first time today and I have to say it was the best Mexican food I have ever ate. Authentic, made to order, and great flavor. Complimentary freshly made chips and salsa to die for. The burrito was ridiculously huge. I highly recommend it and will be back.

Randomly walked into La Fondita for dinner a few weeks ago and WHOA was it a pleasant surprise. The house margarita is insanely delicious as well as the wet burrito. We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent Mexican food in a quaint little place (8 or 9 tables indoors, a couple outside). Four kinds of house-made salsas along with Pozole and Menudo on the weekend vouch for its authenticity. I’ve had several kinds of burritos as well as sopes and all were great. The carne asada was terrific and the al pastor was the best I’ve ever had. NOTE: open limited hours, closing at 7pm and closed on Mondays.
