First time. We got menudo, torta cubana, and machete. The freshly made tortillas were amazing. Everything had great flavor. The machete was a little too oily though, so I had to use napkins to take some off. Our hostess was really nice but the older lady that took our order could use some customer service skills, she was a little rough . I forgot to take pictures until it was a little late.

Atmosphere is run down. Chairs are falling apart. At cashier stand there’s toilet paper and clorox wands. There’s pine sol bottle out in the open. Employees eating and drinking on the job. Customers not greeted upon entering. Customers not served in order of arrival.

My Husband and I came on a Sunday afternoon around 1:00. We waited 15 minutes to even be greeted. There was 1 clean table available where we sat ourselves. We waited another 15 minutes to even be given a menu. While 3 other tables waited with no chips, salsa, water or a menu. An elder couple feel asleep waiting. Once we ordered, I requested chips and salsa but was informed they don’t offer chips and salsa. What Mexican Restaurant does not offer chips and salsa or any other appetizer?? Waited over an hour after arriving for our food.
It appears they need more help and maybe the owner could actually invest in replacing the burnt out lights in his dining area…oh and some chips and salsa. Those are a staple in my home. Just like bread and butter.

Food was amazing and super fast service. Music loud enough to really set the vibe. Clean. Came around 2-3pm and there was plenty of space to sit. Got the chilaquiles con asada and the spice was perfect. Flavorful meat perfect rice and the sauce was wonderful in every way. Spicy. Salty. Savory. Filling. The staff was very kind and helpful. Will 100% be coming back. If you’re looking for a good meal come here
