Sat quickly, took our order quickly, bilingual (English and Spanish), horchata was so good: not watered down or too sweet, the sauce was pretty spicy. The dish was displayed well, I liked that the sour cream was not all over the whole plate and the steak was cooked perfectly. Serving size was good.
The building itself does not look finished inside. The walls do not go all the way down to the floor or ceiling. It seems like incomplete construction. I can’t wait to see it when it’s all done, it’s a great family restaurant.
Several staff came to check and we were well tended to. Price was okay. Chips were extra, not included.

It’s a small place, maybe a couple of booths, a table and a counter. But the flavors are big. Tacos with the handmade tortillas are the way to go. Their carne asada and al pastor are seasoned well. Really good food if you are in the area.

I heard about this restaurant on tik tok so I was curious. We walked in and its very clean and welcoming. The staff is friendly and not hovering over you trying to rush you. The food is authentic mexican. It tastes like momd cooking. If you’re in round lake you should check them out their ground beef tacos are delicious.

The food here is 20/10 delicious and their homemade tortillas are awesome too imo. Our server was very attentive, more than I’m used to from most places and she was also very nice and helpful. Service was very quick like honestly way quicker than I expected since they were somewhat busy and as we were leaving they were taking orders from customers that were waiting to sit which is an incredibly smart way to reduce wait time and also just a very nice gesture. I’m absolutely planning to go back as often as I’m able to so I’d definitely recommend it.

Nice cozy family owned restaurant, food tasted home made, tacos with tortillas echas a mano! This is the first restaurant I go to that the agua de horchata is on point, other places it’s either watered down or too sweet. I 100% recommend this place!

I would give this place a 5. Except that I’m not loving they don’t have the prices on the menu and I don’t want to be asking for every single thing I need to know the price.
Besides that. This place is really pretty. The place its clean. The waitress was phenomenal. She greeted us, offer drinks, appetizers. She checked on us several times and at the end of the she offered desserts and feedback of the place. I hope the owner takes care of her. This became my favorite Mexican restaurant. The home made tortillas hit soooo different! So good. The Al-Pastor and Barbacoa…Amazing…the home made flan and churros are the best I have ever had. So amazing! Highly recommend! Praise God! May Jesus and Our Lady of Guadalupe bless them!

The best food I’ve had in a long time. I ordered the carne asada and a picadita with chicken and it was perfect. The steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Rice and beans amazing! Good size portions. Highly recommend this place.
