First off, a big thank you to Lupita at La Fonda Auto Mall! I’ve been a regular here for about 15 months, and in that time I’ve easily spent over $1,000 goes without saying the food taste good.
Recently, I had an issue with my order, and Lupita went above and beyond to make it right. She took full ownership, handled the situation with grace, and turned what could have been a negative experience into a positive one. Businesses are defined by how they respond when things don’t go perfectly, and Lupita’s customer service was phenomenal.
Every visit, the entire staff is welcoming and attentive, but Lupita truly stands out. Thank you, Lupita—I’ll definitely be back soon!

Love the food here! The menudo is by far some of the best I’ve ever had they do a pretty good job cleaning. The waitress here are also super nice and attentive. Other food I’ve tried here are the Chile rellenos and fajitas. The chorizo burrito is ok pretty standard.

Today my family and I went here and we are very disappointed with the restaurant. The waitress came up to us around 3 times with orders that weren’t ours and when I saw my receipt, I saw that my total would have been $148.92 if I paid in cash and I ended up paying with card which was $153.39. They charged me $4.47 extra for paying with card. Everyone now days pays with card and every places asks for card but don’t charge extra for paying in card. Could the owner please respond to me and tell me why they charge me the extra fee which is ridiculous. You guys lost a loyal customer.

I usually have no problem when I order. But when u have ur heart set on a burrito made to my specifications. I said ” I want a carnitas burrito with lettuce tomatoes cheese and guacamole ” lady ready back my order and again I said on that burrito ALL I WANT IS… Tell me why my burrito has very little meat rice beans and no cheese or guac!? When I call back they won’t give me a credit for next time they actually want me drive clear a cross town for their mistake… you guys lost a loyal customer.

I give it a 4 only because my campechana only had, no kidding, 5 shrimp total. Too much juice and not enough vitamins aka mariscos it. Service is fine for a takeout order. Haven’t sat down to eat there but will in the future.

I bought the seafood soup (7 Seas Soup) . I was very excited to try it because the menu pictures & description looked promising. I was not satisfied with flavor , or lack of flavor in the soup. It was like a trash can of seafood ingredients in water. I would not recommend getting the 7 Seas soup.

Food is ok I guess, customer service is trash. I tried it once before and was told the tacos were better but overall experience sucks. Ppl are not friendly. I usually go to so cal and service there is always nice and friend they actually have a taco Tuesday. I spent 11 bucks on taco Wednesday, not sure what deal that is but ok.

Best menudo I’ve had. It has pigs feet, a lot of tripe and a little hominy, the way I like it. The broth was perfect. The corn tortillas were large, fresh and “homemade”. Oregano and chile flakes are at the table. A bag of chopped white onions and a tiny amount of cilantro was provided. La Fonda will be my new go-to.

The style is a walk-up counter, you place your order and seat yourself. They’ll bring the food out to you. They had a machaca breakfast burrito I wanted to try. Sounded good.

One thing I wished they didn’t have was the TV on with an annoying kids show. I saw one of the ladies that works there walk over, turn on the TV and turn it up. There were no kids. Why? Maybe this won’t be a problem on my next Saturday morning visit.

The food was ok. We ordered a carne asada chimichanga and it had a lot of oil like it was not drained long enough. The girl at the register was not very friendly and rushed us through the order and the place was very warm and muggy like the AC was not working very well. The location of the restaurant is convenient since there is not much around the area.

I went here for Menudo and High stars. I was disappointed with greese and old looking honeycomb not sure if it was over freeze or brought out state.
