1 st visit today and decided on something simple to try and get my feet wet with their menu. I asked about them having nachos which is what i was in the mood for but they don’t sell them. I settled on tostones because I was very hungry and was already there. They’re also my fav snack. They came out in minutes. The garlic sauce it came with was delicious and complimented the tostones well, but the amount of pieces you get for paying almost $6 is a bit stingy on their part. Plantains don’t cost much and these were not authentic tostones. Should have been bigger, double fried, slightly moist inside and crunchy on the outside. These instead were flat hard and dry. Much like plantain chips. Not at all the same thing. I’m disappointed to say the least. It settled my appetite which is what they’re designed to do, I just can’t justify paying what should be no more than $3, $4 tops for what I was given. The hostess greeted me right away and was attentive but I don’t think I’ll be back.

I really like this place for lunch. I usually go with the Bistec A La Parilla or the Ropa Vieja. When ordering the steak, make sure to let them know how you want it cooked or else they won’t ask and you’ll get it overcooked. Good Cuban food just not full of flavor like others, that are more authentic.

I have eaten here twice, and I had two very different experiences. The first time the food service and atmosphere were good. Today was the second time and it was absolutely awful! I called in the order. The food was ready but when I arrived, the staff was there eating. he didn’t even wash his hands He just went straight to my to go order to check out. I asked to see the food to make sure everything was there I did a quick glance and paid and left. When I got back to my desk, I opened the box and there was a small white clump on the side of my bread. I think what I think it is? I took a napkin and touched it and it was sticky and gooey. Oh my God, it looked like a booger. I freaked out and threw the bread in the trash it because I was so grossed out. I took it back to the restaurant to get my money back. I told them what happened. They tried to say it was Cuban sauce and showed it to me. It was not the same consistency of what was stuck to my bread. I saw no that’s not what it looked like. I asked for a refund and they refused because I had eaten some of a food item that was in a separate container. I still had all the rice, beans, chips, salsa, other slice of bread and rest of the beef and my Jamaica drink. I asked for partial refund and they still refused. I was so upset I threw whole bag of food in the trash and left.
My advice to you if you risk eating here:
-please make sure you check your food.
-Make sure the staff washes their hands properly before touching your food
– take pictures if some does not look right for evidence.

Popped in today for lunch with my wife and sat inside. We were greeted immediately, told to sit anywhere, and the place smelled great. We sat down and were instantly given chips and salsa, which were fantastic. Drink menu in hand, we ordered Palomas and were handed an actual menu! I had a Beef cuban and my wife got a salad with seared salmon. Super fast delivery and delicious food. We had a great meal and were in and out in 30 minutes. Perfect for a quick bite and a welcome addition to the neighborhood, must go!

Always good, always delicious. For a change I had the fish salad with salmon. It was a large portion, very fresh and flavorful. Choose the house dressing, it’s a good complement. We had a Skinny margarita with tajin, and a Pacifico with the entrees.

I went here for the first time on 6/9/2025. I got the chicken sandwich with the yellow rice and black beans. I also got the grilled shrimp tacos that come with the yellow rice and black beans. They also give you chips and salsa. Best shrimp tacos I ever eaten from a restaurant here in Atlanta GA. The food is delicious and filling.

Solid Latin/Spanish food place with a variety of options. Food is flavorful, served hot, and a great price considering the amount of food you get. Service is pretty fast (I wait maybe 10 to 15min) and the servers are really nice too. Gets packed quickly so I recommend coming early.

Free chips and salsa, but they lack a soda machine, so they sell single cans. My burrito was bean-heavy, protein-light. The rice was nothing to write home about, and the beans were a lot soupier than I remember them being in Cuba. In my partner’s shrimp quesadilla, there was a lot more spinach than shrimp. Those were the only two flavors. Though the shrimp was good quality, the quantity was disappointing.

Such an inviting and bright cheery spot for dinner on a cold Atlanta night. Make me feel like I’m in a cafe in Miami.
We had a to-go order for six from here and they got the order exactly right. Food great again. (Signature artichoke dip though is best hot at restaurant.)

We enjoyed the atmosphere and food at LaFonda, nice cozy restaurant. The drinks were on point. Can’t wait for it to get a little warmer to come back and sit on the patio.
