First time in, me and my kiddo live near by, it was great! Flavors were good, meat was tasty! Salsas were yum! Margaritas and fresh juicy limes ♡ we will definitely be back , the service was the best I’ve had since I’ve moved into this neighborhood, very friendly love the little patio!

I ordered food from La Fonda twice on DoorDash. Both times, separate drivers did not deliver my food and so I went to La Fonda in person to explain the situation. Not only did the staff remake our food for a third time without complaint, the manager comped the entire meal for us. The food was delicious and the kindness and patience during this incredibly frustrating situation was unexpected and so very appreciated!

It’s a little noisy, but that’s not a deal breaker. The service is very accommodating, very pleasant, very knowledgeable. I have had a variety of dishes here, all excellent, especially the nachos and the churros.

The food was good. We arrived and thought it was busy because we waited so long to be seated. We noticed the restaurant was empty. After receiving our table we waited a long time for anyone to come to our table. Finally we got our beverage order and appetizers placed. Between the appetizer and dinner the wait was so long. No refills on water or chips and salsa. I had to get up and find someone. They were all talking and laughing by the kitchen. The service here is poor. We waited forever for our check and to pay!

My friend and I were looking for a good Mexican restaurant in Wheatridge when I remembered how wonderful La Fonda was. Family owned which means alot to me.. Also, such delicious traditional Mexican food!! Huge portions! And there is alot of room to be comfortable sitting in a booth or at a table. The atmosphere is very charming and service is wonerful! Don’t hesitate to try this great experience. Oh! I almost forgot about the great tasty Margaritas!
