Met up with girlfriends on a Saturday for a dinner. Heard this place was good. I wish 3.5 was an option because that’s how I’d rate this place but the server helped me raise it to a 4.
The appetizers were decent (I wasn’t crazy over the empanadas, plantain or the fondue), the drinks were phenomenal and the staff were great. I enjoyed my beef tacos. The atmosphere and music was really nice. I suggest making a reservation as the place seemed to get packed after dark. I don’t know if I would visit again but I enjoyed this visit and my company. The place wasn’t expensive and there was a sufficient menu. They were out of some items but they worked to make some exceptions. I hope you find this review helpful. La Fogata Tequila Bar & Mexican Kitchen is a true gem for anyone craving an authentic Mexican dining experience. The ambiance is lively yet welcoming, with vibrant decor that transports you to the heart of Mexico, earning a well-deserved 5 out of 5 for the atmosphere. The service was equally outstanding; our server, Marisel, was exceptional, offering attentive and personalized recommendations that made our meal even more enjoyable.
The menu is packed with flavorful options, and while the food was excellent overall (4 out of 5), I would have preferred a touch more seasoning or spice to elevate my meal to the next level. Reservations for 2- The tacos was great, the salmon was delicious, the zucchini and sweet potatoes was horrible, however the matter was fixed asap substituting for the rice and beans which was great. The drinks were good ( 2 patron margaritas Anejo). Things are over priced

Met some friends here for a Friday happy hour. Location and parking were easy. Inside was open and friendly noticed there was outdoor seating which was a bonus. The service was confusing one lady came to table took our order then arrived 5 minutes later with another guy who took our order again. Service was slow and repetitive we couldn’t determine who was our server and why we had to order with two different people. Chicken quesadilla, chips and salsa were tasty.

Came here randomly for dinner Saturday evening—wasn’t too packed so there were plenty of tables available but we choose to sit at the bar. Food was decent—we ordered the Ribeye Steak, Ceviche de Tilapia and Camarones—my only complaint is the food is a bit on the bland side and not as flavorful as I would like. The mojitos were DELICIOUS—even had a sugarcane in them!
I noticed that they have liquor bottles reserved for guests who order a liquor bottle but don’t finish—they store the bottles at the bar so guests can come back another time to drink the rest of their bottle—I thought this was cool!

Note that there is a $10 extra fee for flavored margarita pitchers, so $40 is original and $50 flavored for each pitcher. They make a mean guacamole! They are pricey, but the food was delicious. Also, a plus, the bathroom is nice and clean for the women.

Nice interior, food was good but overcharged, great drink menu, but lack of service.
After waiting for an hour for our food I’m just disappointed and tired. People are the bar wouldn’t even look at me while I went over to try to talk to them. Took a long time to get our waiter back, found out the waiter didn’t hear one of the party’s order.
It wasn’t busy there (~3 full tables and empty bar) why did it take so long to get assistance? Please let your staff know to be more present. I felt cast to the corners and left there.

Great food, great service, great environment! I was greeted by a chef, welcomed by hosts, and was served well the entire time. The setting is modern but comfortable and very clean. The prices are very reasonable (especially during the all-day happy hour Mondays), and the food tastes great! I love this spot.
