The tacos de birria plate and beef tongue plate were good but need more spice. The birria was tough, which isn’t the norm. The margaritas were the best I ever had, outstanding! The wait help was excellent! The deco is also very nice and lively.

Drove past it and decided to give it a shot, DEF worth it! You MUST stop by! I had the taco de pastor and carnitas, wife had pastor and chorizo. I also tried the Pupusa and it was very good… all of it. Flavorful, authentic, and fresh homemade tortillas! The staff were friendly and the place was clean!

This place is fabulous! Really quality food, fast and friendly service, and a great location. They are generous with chips and salsa, both of which are always fresh! Portion sizes are also large – my family typically takes part of our meal home to enjoy the next day. They are prompt with drink refills and checking in to make sure everything is good. My favorite order is the enchiladas with salsa verde, which are outstanding! Bathrooms have always been very clean in my experience as well. Overall, the staff really want to make sure you enjoy your meal and have a good experience, which goes a long way.

Picky eater here, with super high standards for restaurants- this place is amazing!! Portions are huge and the food actually has flavor- like REAL flavor. The meat in the burritos and the birria tacos was tender and flavorful in their own right. The sauces and consume offered were amazing as well and complimented the food. The spicy smokey chipotle sauce was out of this world! Salsa was tasty and staff was pleasant and attentive. You can taste the love in the food, nothing straight out of a can to a plate served here! Totally looking forward to coming back soon!!

Found this little hole in the wall by accident. Authentic food, fresh, hot and tasty. It has climbed to the best Spanish food I have ever had. Portions are HUGE. If your passing through Shelbyville, skip all the fast food places and try this place. Its well worth it.

If you know me, you must know that it is rare for me to give a restaurant or any place a 5 star rating. This restaurant has the most authentic Mexican food you will ever find in Kentucky. Even though it is in Shelbyville County, I would truly recommend going there if you want real authentic food. We really enjoyed it. I could tell that all the vegetables were cut at the moment as they looked fresh. We also had a Michelada. I was, quite refreshing. The bathrooms were absolutely clean. And with people coming in and out, you can tell They love this place and it stays busy. So give it a shot and stop by. It’s a 25 -30 minute drive from Louisville, but it is totally worth it. If you want really fresh and authentic Mexican food!!
