Hubby and I very excited to try new restaurant out and it was just disappointing. Paid $40+ including tip! Just wasn’t worth it. Ordered tacos with rice & beans. Meat was unseasoned, rice & beans were cold. Looks so very beautiful inside, food not the greatest. Will not be back. Corn was the only thing good and hot.

Birria tacos were good. However, I don’t like going to a counter and ordering food at sit down prices and asking about a tip. Aren’t I serving myself? I would’ve asked for more sour cream or another drink but didn’t want to keep going to the counter as nobody came to the tables to check. (We were the only people in the restaurant.)

This place has just became a staple in my weekend dinning. I got the birria tacos and let me say they are just absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is extremely friendly. Highly recommend this place!

I pass the restaurant every day to get home and always said I would go. Well today was the day I decided to go. I ordered online because I didn’t feel like waiting for food. I’ve been to many different Mexican restaurants where they gladly greet their customer, I was not greeted here. I worked in the food service before so I always greet with a smile. There was a young lady at the counter and tbh she looked clueless. And like I said, I’ve been to so many Mexican restaurants to know that with your order you’re usually given salsa to go with your food. I asked about salsa in bag and she said “ no it didn’t come with the order” . I mean she didn’t even explain do I have to pay for it? Nothing, she could have at least said “ I’ll give it to you but for next time you have to ask for it on your order”. NADA. Now to the food. I got two orders of arroz con Camarones, the shrimp was good I’ll give them that. The rice was under cooked. The rice would have been good if it wasn’t crunchy. I felt like I ordered crunchy rice with shrimp drowned in cheese dip. I also ordered two quesabirria tortas, they were ok. ♀️ better then the crunchy rice and camarones. My daughter got the quesadilla tejana. She loves food and never really complains like most kids do. She said the beef in her food were hard and made it difficult for her to chew. She had to pick them out and gave it to cats who also avoided it. But even then she was already upset her dinner was ruined. The aguas frescas were the only thing I can give a 5 star to. I would not recommend coming here for poor communication with customers and food was not the best to me. I’ll stick my original Mexican place at “El Guerrero Mexican Restaurant” where I’m gladly greeted and attended to . Y’all are not that far from that I suggest y’all do a little better.

This place used to be my go to especially for the delicious birria tacos. However, the last FOUR TIMES I ordered, I didn’t get any dip and sauces and I ordered the correct amount. This was after I indicated a note requesting the sauce as well and noted that I ordered the minimum amount to get the dip.

Churros we’re so good! The waitress was really attentive and even gave us some free churros for being good patrons, the food was also really savory. We will definitely be returning!

Food was okay. Not the greatest. 2 stars for atmosphere. We weren’t greeted when we walked in and we were the only ones there. 1 star for lack of customer service. Didn’t know whether we sit and they come to us or order at register. Minimal communication and made the whole process awkward.
