Expertly made Mexico City delicacies in a cozy and colorful restaurant! Food was high-quality and spot-on! Ask for the mushroom quesadilla with epazote (special fresh herb from Aztec times). The steak tacos were great, too! Quite the gem in the suburbs. 🙂

This is one of the best restaurants in Kenosha let alone great Mexican food. I have been frequenting La Fogata for several years and have never been disappointed. The staff is well trained as they take care of each table. It is a place to see and be seen. There is a screened in outdoor area, so you can be outside without the bugs . No reservations though unless you have a large party, it is a Stand and wait situation.

If you ever been to amigo chino in Chicago and love it there, you’ll love this place too.
5 years later and this place is still amazing!!! Its small but nice. Plenty of parking and wheelchair accessible. Separate fe/male washrooms. They have a cute pond/fountain outside with koi fishes and turtles. Food and drinks….plenty of options. I highly recommend this place and to go on an empty, hungry stomach.

Their Horchata is one of the best I’ve ever had and their large size is HUGE! They also have great aguas frescas options! Their tacos as really nicely portioned, juicy meat, and their salsas are so so good! Staff was nice and food came out very quickly. When we went it was rather quiet but ai really enjoyed it!
