Legit Columbian food. As other posters noted, the portions are large; I could finish my plate. But it was all very well cooked. I recommend trying a platter; the carne asada-style steak and plantains were particularly good. Worth a stop!

This place is one of my favorite eateries here in Fayetteville, NC.

We were immediately welcomed with a big smile and warm personalities when we arrived. The atmosphere is beautiful, smells great, and is so very comfortable. Although I am Spanish speaking, the menu is also in ENGLISH. The servers made sure to accompany both languages and gave the best experience. Lastly, the food was so tasty that I will 100% return.

Recommend 5/5 by MeloDee.

Used to love this place, I usually buy a medium picada every weekend and today I ordered the same thing as every week and now is more expensive and I get no sausage, no green plantains and no small corncake, really disappointing

First time here. The staff was very friendly. We were promptly greeted and even asked if this was our first visit. Our waiter was knowledgeable and helpful when asked about one of the menu items. The food was delicious. A very pleasant experience especially since they closed but we were not rushed to leave.

I really wanted to like this place, unfortunately the service was terrible by a young man who obviously did not want to be there. Took 15 min to get our drinks from the bar and when we inquired as to when we would get them he said to be patient they were busy. There were only 4 tables including ours when we ordered….. when the food came there was a lot, however it was dry, overcooked, chewy, and the beans had no flavor. We went we another couple and was presented with a bill for all us and when we explained we were separate we were asked did you tell your waiter that, my response was no one asked us. The bill was corrected and we left. The music was good but not good enough for me to go back.

This was a fairly terrible experience. I ordered take-out to try out Colombian food, so I ordered the Fogata Platter to try out as many of the house dishes as possible. Except, I was sent home with a skirt steak. I packed it back up, and had to drive back to the restaurant to have this fixed. It turns out my food was sitting on the counter, and even the wait staff didn’t understand why they had an extra platter. So instead of making a new plate, they packed up the cold food and sides I already brought to them and sent me on my way. They kept the Skirt Steak to possibly give to the person who ordered that food in the first place.

Needless to say, this made the food terrible. Sure, it had flavor… but because everything sat for so long, the Pork and Corn Cakes were tough and hard to chew, the chicken was dry, the fried egg was no longer runny, the avocado was warm, and the fried pork and beef were like jerky. This is on top of everything going from lukewarm to cold. If it weren’t for the fact I paid $30, I would have thrown it away after the first few bites.

I could nitpick further, but I digress. This was an absolute WASTE of $30 and I will not be coming back.

Pro-Tip: If you screw up the order make a NEW one, don’t just pack the cold stuff.

Tip to visitors: Just dine in, you may have a better experience.

First time was great. Our food was excellent. Cooked to perfection, hot and fresh. I ordered the chicken with peppers & onions. Two sides were Rice and Plantains. Everything was delicious. We also had drinks and we really liked them as well. The Long Island iced tea and the strawberry daiquiri was awesome. We’re definitely going back for more. Service was good.

Real fayetteville south American gem. Nothing like it.

Pro:
– authentic
– affordable
– lunch specials
– diverse menu
– location

Con:
– some of the fried food was a bit overdone
– the food was great, just like a minute or 2 overdone. If they pull everything off the grill/frier/pan sooner it would be perfect

I will still keep coming back, it is such unique food for fayetteville, that I crave it once a month.
