This is my second time here for taco Tuesday and the Asada tacos was horrible, the taco meat was old, burn, dry and had a taste like it’s been left out for a wile and looked more like chorizo. The service was good and the place looks nice. The pozole also was horrible.

Elgin, it used to be El Faros for the best burrito in town, but no longer. La Flor has taken the crown. The tortilla shell is always grilled, inside fresh thinly sliced lettuce and onions and fresh cilantro elevate the refried beans, rice, and give it the perfect combo. Their red sauce is amazing. Sorry El Faros. I gave you multiple chances to beat La Flor but was repeatedly disappointed. The only thing better at El Faro now is the pickled vegetables. Go to LA Flor ya’ll, don’t live in the past.

I been coming here for over 25 years. I do like the remodel but I do miss the old look. Service was great by Liz. She followed up on our meal and checking if everything was ok or needed. Sopes and Tostada was excellent. I recommend this great restaurant to everybody.

I used to love La Flor. This is my second time ordering a carnita burrito under the new owner. The first time the quantity of meat was less and full of fat. This time the meat is unedable. It looks like approximately 3/4 cup if meat. Nothing but fat and white bone. The tortilla is over stuffed with rice and sour beans. The beans smelled sour and tasted sour. I’m not sure if I’m willing to give them another try. Cutting quality to cut cost? So disappointing.
