Best damn tacos in Sacramento, hands down! You can’t get authentic here for 1.50 a taco! Yes, I said 1.50 a taco. Shut the front door, get in your car, and go eat! Fresh food, clean spot, and true experience.

Been here twice in the last couple months. Read about it on Reddit. Unpretentious taqueria inside a panaderia.

Man, the al pastor tacos that they prepare from a cart out in the parking lot are fantastic. Juicy, flavorful, and include the pineapple. They’re $1.50 each. Get 4, you’ll be stuffed. I believe they only serve them on weekends.

Burritos are also bomb, as are the asada fries.

This is the closest taco in Sacramento that I’ve found similar to Leo’s in LA, but with no line.

DELICIOUSNESS! Hotdogs are yummy and they also have street tacos. My favorite meat, Alpastor! I think they start at 7 or 8pm Thursdays Fridays and Saturdays maybe Sundays not sure.

FYI go inside to pay! Tacos are 3.5 stars I’ve only tried the al pastor with pineapple the red sauce is hot! The agua de fresa was on the sweeter side but they carry drinks inside. The staff could do a better job of welcoming patrons and directing them to seating areas or even just a hello welcome in. I will return for the food not the service . Please hire a real cashier the young girl ringing up makes me feel guilty when I interrupt her homework time.

Have ordered Burritos and Tacos here, really really good. Spoke to the new employees there and the gentleman I spoke to confirmed that they are opened 7 days a week. The current listed hours are from the old owners.

I have driven past the place in the past and have smelled the delicious aromas coming out of the little cart. This place is a little unusual…there is a food cart/BBQ in front of a convenience store with a restaurant seating area on one side. You walk to the deli counter-like setup in the back to order. The menu is minimal but has tamales, street tacos, burritos and tortas. The person wasn’t particularly helpful when I asked what he suggested. So I got some tomales and tacos. Note: they hand you a piece of paper which YOU then take to the guy working the cart outside.
The food:
Best thing by far was the Al Pastor meat in the tacos. Strong pineapple flavor mixed with a salty almost bacon flavor. Super yummy.
The pork tamale was just ok. The limited filling was tasty but the whole thing was rather dry.
I also had the cheese and jalapeno tomale. This was really disappointing…super dry, all masa and masa was all I tasted.
The salsa bar is good, but beware, all the salsa ranges from spicy to burn your sinuses. But despite the heat, they were very tasty.
If you are in the mood for a super low key kind of place and want some really good al pastor, give Flor de Guerrero a try!
