This is my third time eating at this place and having some kind of issue. The first time was in the summer and there were huge wasps flying over our food. The waitress came and caught them (multiple) in a glass and tossed them outside. We were just having apps, so we finished quickly and left. The calamari was not good. It was sitting in a sweet oily sauce that I wasn’t expecting and because of this, they were soggy. We loved the Brussels though.
The 2nd time we came in, we were 1 of 2 tables in the restaurant, but it took 30 min to get our appetizers and 20th minutes for the food. They changed the Brussels recipe, which made them less tasty and the waitress was nice so we let it go.
On this last trip, I took my kids because they wanted steak. My son loves mocktails so we ordered the pomegranate cranberry drink. It was too tart for him to drink so we asked for it to be sweetened, it came back slightly better but my son still wouldn’t drink it. We ordered garlic bread (which was dry, but good) and fried mozzarella (which again was sitting in a bowl of mystery red sauce that is not marinara, so it was sweet and soggy). I ordered a Caesar salad with blackened shrimp…there’s an upcharge to blackened which I thought was odd, but I digress. The shrimp were also SWEET and not the savory blackened flavoring that I’m accustomed to, so I don’t finish it. I did bring it home, re-seasoned and pan fried the shrimp to make edible. The steak was atrocious, we asked for NY Strip medium, but there was no red inside. My kids were ok with it because the flavor was good, but the texture was like that of a meatball or meatloaf. I wonder if my steak was actually a steak now. For $45, I hope I’m having real steak. The veggies that came were a little overcooked and rubbery. On a positive note, the waitress was nice and the roasted potatoes were delicious. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

This experience was an upcharge nightmare. Ordered a glass of prosecco and shrimp scampi. Partner ordered a pasta dish as well. Seemed like the waitress thought we were budgeting our menu choices, as we picked dinner entrees that were $24 instead of $32-$40. Waitress asked us if we wanted any “bread and oil”. At most restaurants, bread is almost always complementary, however, I saw on the menu bread and oil as an appetizer for $7. I declined but ordered calamari as an appetizer instead. When waitress came out with my prosecco which was unopened in a mini bottle, I quickly apologized and asked if I could get a Cabernet first to go with the calamari and get the prosecco when my shrimp scampi came out. This was all no problem, and we got our calarmi and I got my red wine. Our meals came out, and my partner jokingly said “shrimp scampi, more like shrimp skimpy”. Very small portion, maybe 5 shrimp, large, but come on, the pasta portion was pathetic. Shrimp was overcooked and the dish lacked flavor. I had to add lemon, pepper, and parm to enhance the flavor of my dish. Partner’s portion was similar, and had barely any broccoli or vegetables in it. Ok whatever, we had two skimpy dishes, but we were having a special night out and weren’t going to let that ruin our dining experience. I ordered an aperitif to close out the night and asked specifically about a drink I saw, and if I could tweak it to have no citrus in it. Waitress heard request, said no problem, drink came back with an orange slice in it. Didn’t let that annoy me, just took the orange slice out and drank it. Now for the reason all these little annoyances added up. We get the check. The glass of red wine that I ordered during our appetizer was $20 for a glass. Nowhere on the menu is there a $20 glass of Cabernet. When I ordered the Cabernet, I didn’t have a menu on me but I figured she would pick one of the two that were listed on the menu. I felt this waitress tried in every way to upcharge us. This feels wrong considering we ordered three drinks, two entrees, and an appetizer. How much more did she want us to spend? The misleading “bread and oil” tactic and the $20 glass of wine that doesn’t exist on the menu irked me enough to write this review. Add that up with the sub par cuisine and small portions and this place feels like a rip off, 1 star.

We got takeout from here and tried a variety of items. Everything was delicious! The pizza is the best in the area. Super thin crust and tons of flavor. Can’t wait to go back and try more.

This restaurant had the best pizza i have had in a very long time. I suggest everyone try it and if you’re feeling up to it get the brownie sundae IT WAS AMAZING. The 14in pizza was big enough for my girlfriend and I to share with a bit left over as well. Ashley was an absolute sweetheart and made sure that we were taken care of. She recommended the red sangria and my girlfriend loved it. She even offered for us to try samples to make sure we were going to enjoy what we paid for. DEFINITELY TRY THIS PLACE!!! 5/5 stars

Great wood fired pizzas – thin and crispy crust (but still foldable) with a nice selection of styles. The Caesar salad was large enough for two to three people. Didn’t try anything else but the selection of Italian pastas and other foods looked great on the menu. The Bulleit old fashioned was well prepared and tasty

I recently hosted a gathering for 35 guests at La Figata, and the experience exceeded my expectations. The appetizers were both delicious and generously portioned, and the wait staff demonstrated exceptional professionalism, courtesy, and attentiveness throughout the event. The private room in the back provided the perfect setting, and I appreciated being allowed to visit beforehand to decorate. From reserving the space to selecting the menu and beverages, the entire process was seamless and stress-free. I highly recommend La Figata to anyone seeking a beautiful private venue for a special occasion.

Took my wife here on a surprise date night. We had the calamari, the cheese garlic bread, and a salad as apps. My wife had the Braised short ribs with a side of the scallops(which were cooked perfectly). She loved everything she ordered. For my meal I ordered the Veal Parmesan and it was one of the best I had in recent memory. Cooked perfectly, very good marinara sauce and the veal was not rubbery. Everything we had was very delicious and we definitely plan to go back again. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a great meal at a decent price.

Both times we were here, food was great and service was top notch did not have to wait long as in many other restaurants, there is plenty of room here & a lot of seating. Good place to go out with the family. I highly recommend the pesto and parmesan crusted salmon over couscous which has sun-dried tomatoes & arugula in it. Great combination 10/10. My husband loved his short ribs over mashed potatoes he said 10/10. Kids loved their pizza & buttery pasta w side of grilled chicken.
