Coming back from Burlington to Winston-Salem I decided to stop for lunch at a mexican restaurant and do a review.
Atmosphere- subtle earth tone Mexican decor, and suprising of all, CLASSICAL music playing. (It was nice)
Ordered my go to review dish- Chori-pollo.
Chips and salsa- chips were mid, salsa was a 7/10.
However… the main dish. 10000/10.
Two nice juicy, marinated and grilled breasts. The chicken was so flavorful it knocked my socks off without even touching my shoes. Chorizo and cheese ontop made it even better if that was even possible. Rice and beans were top notch. Everything you want from them. Fresh and flavorful beans. While simple, the rice was moist and perfect. Tortillas were great that came with it.
Service was great and was checked by the manager as well to make sure everything was good.
Upon leaving I spoke to my wife via phone and told her “I just had some of the best Mexican in my life”
I’m looking forward to returning and trying other items.

I have visited twice now and have not been disappointed. Everything I order is fresh and tasty. Today I got chicken soup and Chicken tostada salad. The salad Isiah had more than just chicken and lettuce but that’s personal preference. Will visit again.

I used to eat at La Cocina exclusively until I tried La Fiesta. The food here is even better! I love the cheese dip and their beans and rice are very flavorful and moist. The shrimp cocktail is amazing. The chicken soup is the most flavorful I’ve ever had. Their enchilada sauce has a depth of flavor similar to mole and it’s amazing. My husband loves the Arroz Nortenga and their huge burritos. I love their fried chicken burritos covered in cheese sauce. And don’t sleep on the Guacamole de Casa! It’s chunky avocado in a taco shell and it’s fresh and flavorful and one of our favorites to share!

I went here with my family. Food is delicious! They have a lot of new items on the menu. I tried the Spinach and Chicken Enchilada and it was great. I also tried the hibiscus Fresca and it was refreshing not too sweet. However, if you have any dietary restrictions please make sure you confirm that you don’t want that included, my partner requested for no mushrooms and they gave him mushrooms. Other than that this is my go to spot!

I have been eating here for 18 years. Today I went in for lunch, I ordered chicken soup as I have many times before. There was a tiny piece of jalapeno in the chicken soup that I believe was put there intentionally. I have IBS, I absolutely can’t have jalapenos. I have been sick, doubled over in pain for 6 hours. I will never eat here again.
Responding to La Fiesta: Again, I have ordered this soup many times, never had any jalapeno in it. We came in to eat around 1. My husband had a steak burrito and rice, I had the soup, gringo dip , sweet tea , Dr pepper that was our order. I’m still very sick. It wasn’t multiple pieces of jalapeno.. it was one tiny piece the size of my pinky nail. So no it wasn’t supposed to be there. Thanks

This is an ACP looks like when I received it. We eat here on the bar side about every other week. Often enough that the servers know what we drink. I called back to complain and I was told we could bring the food back and they would remake it. I don’t get a 2 hour lunch, I didn’t have time to do this 2x. The management didn’t care, I asked for a credit. They refused.We ordered five meals and all five meals were like this. They left out the vegetables on the fiesta salads , no chips, and didn’t pack an entire meal. Luckily I checked before driving away. This was a real disappointment!!

La Fiesta is our favorite Mexican restaurant! We have been eating here for 25 years and have never had a bad meal! The food is always fresh and the service is great. Sandra has been waiting on us for years and always takes good care of us.

Back for another visit. The food was delicious. It’s obvious that this place is a local favorite. The crowd was ridiculous after 5. Still, we received decent service. Our waitress was maxed out and doing her best. I’d still recommend La Fiesta to anyone who has a craving for Mexican dishes.

I tried their burrito and their carnitas and it had some good flavors. It was good but not amazing. I have high standards and I’d say the food was above average. The waiters were nice and the service was fast.
