South-of-the-border & Tex-Mex chow, served in a casual setting with beer, margaritas & happy hour.

Amazing revamp from the old location. The interior is a lush and relaxing neon garden nightclub style with oddly awesome bathrooms which is often a real sign of attention to quality. The service is much better and kinder than previously, I was appreciated and greeted multiple times and all signs of schlub going thru the motions is gone.
The food also saw an uptick with photo perfect playing, clean crisp lettuce, great ground beef, rich cheese and good value proportions. The chicken is dry and monoflavor, a slight amount of Verde and a chopped cooked green pepper would add lots of moist flavor to the entire batch.
The beef is abnormally good compared to most competitors. The taquitos are fluffy and worth driving for. The salsa is cut too much with water and could use some more herb or spice.
All in all a great place to sit, talk, eat and drink with friends that a few small changes could push this to one of the best in the area. That could change as I go through the whole menu but so much attention is paid to so many details I doubt it. Check this out

Been here many times over the years, before and after remodel, they always remain consistent with amazing staff that are on top of it.
Food is always quick and hot or sizzling depending on your dish. Fresh chips and salsa are always on the table.
Normally I get a burrito, wings, or seafood and always get the queso dip… Everything amazing
The wife orders a variety of dishes and always enjoys them.
Best Mexican restaurant that I’ve been to in St. Louis.
No military discount for those who wounder.
Also have party/private area.

I use to like going here and I do like their food. However the last 2 times I have been here which has been bot 5 months apart and a reason for that distance in between was because I had food poisoning from the last time I went. I was sick for 5 days straight. Thought ok. Maybe just got ahold of something a little bad that maybe was past due they kept in kirltchen. Fast forward to 2 days ago and same thing. I got so sick the very next morning with vomiting, stomach cramps and diarrhea along with sweats and more. The exact as last time. And its Sunday and I still feel it but getting better. Something isn’t right. But I never have had issues with mexican food before these two times there or anywhere else. Won’t be going back. Just be warned. Not saying they are bad restaurant but I know that its happened twice there and no other Mexican places I eat. Hard to comprehend or explain

This place left an outstanding impression! I came here for dinner in a large group and still had great food and surprisingly great service. The kitchen had accidentally made the wrong item and without me even saying anything corrected it, I was perfectly okay with what I had and this brought it to another level. Great place!

Went here on a Thursday like normal, I’ve been coming here frequently since moving to the area because I love the food and the staff has always been so sweet. There was a really rude blonde lady who was really giving the staff hell, following a staff member around to yell at her, yelling across the restaurant, really just acting a fool. The staff was so sweet and handled her very well even though she was really pushing them. Props to everyone there, and I really hope that lady sees that she looked very stupid and hateful to very sweet staff

La Fiesta is hands-down one of our favorite restaurants in St. Louis! The margaritas are the best we’ve had anywhere in the area—seriously, don’t skip them. The menu is huge, so whether you’re craving tacos, enchiladas, or something more adventurous, you’ll find a delicious option.
Shoutout to our server, Jesus, who was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Service was excellent from start to finish. The food came out hot, perfectly cooked, and in generous portions that left us happily full.
The newly renovated space is beautiful—clean, modern, and super inviting. Bonus points for reasonable prices and no extra charge for using a credit card (which is becoming rare these days).
Highly recommend La Fiesta for a great meal, great drinks, and great vibes!

My waiter was great, kind, and kept everything filled. The place is very clean and nice. The chips and salsa were good. The main entree was lacking a little in flavor, but overall it was a good experience and I would go back.

This Mexican spot is an absolute vibe. The atmosphere is super chill—perfect lighting, music just right, and everyone there, guests included, were crazy friendly to me and my friend. We felt totally welcome, like instant regulars. And the bathroom? Straight-up dope. Clean, stylish, and honestly might be the coolest one I’ve seen in a restaurant. Food slapped, vibes were immaculate, and we left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. If you want killer tacos and good energy all around, this place is a must.
