If you are in high school/ college, don’t go. Not to be a Karen, but our server didn’t even ask us if we wanted drinks/ appetizers. We didn’t get any refills unless we asked (chips and drinks). We watched her check on other tables and skip us (assuming because we’re young and we “won’t tip”).

When it was time for the checks, I had to track down our server to get them. I never leave reviews, but this establishment deserves one. I’ve never not tipped, but today, I only left 10% ON TOP of the added gratuity for our party of 7…

Nice place for some good Mexican food in downtown Carrollton. The menu has lots to choose from and the prices are very reasonable. Nice patio also.

Great service. Great atmosphere. Amazing frozen peach margarita. Extensive menu. Generous portions with plenty of meat. Worst cheese dip and salsa, I’ve ever had. Both were tasteless and watery.

Stopped in because the Brown Dog was closed. Was very leary due to some other reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised. The food was decent. Friendly and fast service. Would eat here again. Was WAY better than the Lazy Donkey we had a few weeks back.

An okay experience, the waitress was attentive and all but the food was just not it. The drinks tasted a bit watered down and when I ordered fajitas the meat tasted a bit chewy. The atmosphere isn’t all that great, and renovations should be made in this place. Also the chips are a bit stale and it kind of saddens that the quality of the place has insignificantly declined. Hopefully a couple changes are going to be made before the restaurant worsens.

Hard pass… never again.
Didn’t realize the Brown Dog closed at 3 on Sunday. Headed over to give this place a try.
Everything from the service to the food was just “meh”. Nothing authentic, odd seasonings, nothing fresh. Staff didn’t want to be there. The place just oozes sadness with a side of stale tortillas.

First time visit. Extensive menu offerings. I ordered the combination Hard Taco, Enchilada, and Burrito. My wife had the Texas Fajitas. She had enough left over to have dinner tonight. My meal was filling. Chips and salsa was typical. Salsa is on the hot side. We also had a small Cheese Dip. The amount of chips was about right for the Salsa and Cheese Dip. According to the menu, additional Chips and Salsa cost extra. Overall it was a decent meal and we were satisfied. I would still highly recommend this location.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This is the most disgusting food I have ever eaten. The steak was rubber and no flavor. The rice was dried up like it was a week old. The service was slow. The margarita had no tequila. How do you mess up Mexican food that bad??! Idk how this place stays open.

Wanted to like this place, came in twice on different non-busy weekdays. The first time I ordered their Papas Locas (fries with melted cheese), and the fries were soggy. To drink i had a house margarita which was too sour and watered down.
The second time I visited, I Ordered a Pork Torta and it didn’t include the cheese. Although cheese is a standard ingredient, here it has to be ordered with the three-meat torta. The pork was tasteless and had to add salsa and squeeze some lime from my drink to make it acceptable. The Modelo Negra Michelada was delicious, they balanced the ingredients well. The place is centrally located in Carrollton Square, the location is magnificent. Would return for drinks, but the food unfortunately didn’t meet my expectations. If planning on sitting outside I suggest getting your food in to-go containers, they have a fly problem.

Definitely the first peach margarita I’ve ever had, and quite possibly, the best margarita I’ve ever had! Guacamole was fresh and delicious and onion-free, as requested. Outdoor seating close to the music venue allows for an excellent dinner-and-a-show situation.
