Service, service, service! What a great place to eat Mexican food! The awesome service can’t be beat. Our server was super friendly and helpful. And everyone working there seems to be genuinely happy people. And the food is delicious; not Americanized Mexican food, but the real deal. I had the mole chicken enchiladas. My brother chicken and carnitas tacos. And my brother in law had a combo of tacos and enchilada. All of our food came on a timely manner, and it was so good. Their prices are very reasonable, too. And the portions are big enough to fill you up, and to take it to go. Love it. I will definitely be back, no wonder this restaurant is one of my brother’s favorites.

We ordered a combination plate with a beef taco and enchiladas. The beef was cooked well, but it lacked flavor. Some seasonings would’ve made it.
I had the chicken mole. The mole was good but maybe a little sweet for my taste.
Overall, the prices are on the high end for what you get. The ingredients were fresh and the dishes cooked well, but the flavors were all missing something.

My family and I have been going to this restaurant for years. They may be just a tad pricey, but the food is delicious. I’m Mexican and grew up eating Mexican food. This restaurant comes closer to the real thing than any other restaurant chain I know…even better than king taco! And their portions are big. if they’re big for me, and I can eat, the I think it is worth the price. Also, their flan is so creamy…Yum! The wait staff has never been rude or unjust. If we didnt like something, they did their best to accommodate us. Once you get to know them, they are truly great people! 🙂

Authentic Mexican food in the historic core of South Pasadena. Their mole sauce is great, very tasty. I had the mole enchiladas and they were delicious. Their portions are abundant, so you may want to share your dish if you’re not very hungry. Specially their burritos, they are huge.

Food was ok. The guacamole was delicious, it usually lacks flavor or just tastes off but it was so good, so was the salsa. My daughter didn’t much care for their fajitas, it’s her favorite but she didn’t like them hers. I thought they were ok.
My husband loved the mole enchiladas, he’s vegetarian. He cleaned his plate. Rice and beans were also very good.
